"One of our usual favorites but a flop tonight. I asked for my salad with the dressing on the side and the server said they toss lightly in a vinaigrette as it enhances the flavors. Understand. I’d like my dressing on the side, please. Salad delivered tossed with dressing. Yes, I kept it and chalked it up as an oversight. At an 8:15 reservation we received our dinner at 9:30. Warm plates but cold food. We reluctantly sent it back and our server (doing her best) returned with our scallop and crab ravioli dinners “remade”. Odd since the 1/2 eaten scallop looked eerily familiar. Second attempt the plates were hot and the food was mostly cold. We shared the scallops and gave up on the bland ravioli and poorly microwaved and tepid potato leek hash and awful veggies. The server asked the manager to visit and returned to say he’d discount our dinner but wouldn’t be visiting. (See review from 2/22 must be shy). Everybody has a bad nite but for the manager to delegate this responsibility to the server is pathetic. Sorry to say, this was an epic failure and a disappointing $100 discounted dinner for two (no drinks). Canceled our 2nd reservation for this visit. Try the Sandbar, Traders, The Captiva Inn or Doc Fords for consistently awesome food managed by responsible professionals."

"Haku Sushi is located in the heart of Santa Rosa. Being new to the area I am always on the hunt for a sushi spot, lucky I came across Haku. Parking can be a bit tricky on a busy day since street parking is always crazy but on not busy days it's a breeze and tons of open meter parking available, they also have a parking garage right across the street if needed. Service was great, the staff that helped me was very welcoming and gave me time to over look the menu and patiently waited till I was ready. The restaurant looked busy and I noticed tons of people also picking up orders to go. I finally placed my order and also got it to go so I can enjoy at home. Waited about 15/20 min and my food was ready. I did noticed not only is it a sushi restaurant they also have some type of Korean menu as well, so I feel like they offer more than just sushi but I didn't ask or explore to much more. Just make sure you come hungry, they do have a good selection to choose from. I ordered 3 rolls and some veggie tempura, I would say the prices are a bit higher than what I'm used to paying back home but I know inflation is real and everything in Sonoma County seems to cost more. I will say, the rolls were delish! They were worth the price, The quality and quantity were outstanding. If you find yourself looking for sushi and are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. "I usually don't write reviews, but this experience was unlike anything I've ever encountered before. A friend and I met up for drinks and possibly some appetizers. We inquired about happy hour being served outside, only to be told it wasn't possible. We decided to sit outside anyway, but the woman (who appeared to be a manager) seemed confused and asked if we planned on eating. We mentioned appetizers, but hadn't even looked at the menu yet. She insisted that our only option was to sit at the bar, as the tables were reserved for diners, despite there only being two tables occupied outside at 5:30. It was clear that this was a conversation she hadn't had with patrons before. As someone who works in restaurant management, I was taken aback by this and will not be returning. It's disappointing that they showed no interest in new customers and didn't give us a chance to enjoy their establishment. We left feeling let down, as we were both excited to try their restaurant."

"This was our first visit to Fhima's, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our waiter, Marshall inquired whether we had concert plans for the evening (we did). He did a great job of pacing our meal so that our food was presented in a timely manner and we were able to get to our concert at just the right time. My hubs and I shared 3 different entrees and each was superb! The scallops with parmesan and saffron risotto, duck confit hash, and short ribs with sweet potato mousse were all tasty and nicely plated and presented. I could have licked the risotto and sweet potato mousse plates! The short ribs were garnished with a tuft of cotton candy-not needed in my opinion. Entrees were small enough to be a smaller plate meal; they were just right to share (2 scallops, 2 short ribs, etc). We finished off with sharing creme brulee which was actually brulee'd at the table. A fun way to end our meal! We enjoyed a few drinks off of their seasonal menu-hubs had 2 drinks featuring mezcal-the Nib Slip and Smoke in Her Eyes-this was presented table side in a smoke filled decanter. I had the Dead &Lovely-I actually saved this drink to drink with dessert as it is a sweeter drink with heavy cinnamon notes. Service was prompt and attentive, although it did taper off a bit as the restaurant became busier. Not a deal changer by any means, though. The wait staff seems to function well as a team with most tasks, which is nice to see. We had a very nice visit to Fhima's. The variations in presentation of drinks and food makes the experience interesting and fun! Pricing was fair for the food and service levels. The attention to the small details was apparent. Well done!"

"Our server was openly hostile toward us. I wrote a review that I 've posted in a couple other places (google, yelp, facebook if you 're interested) but it was too long for Open Table so I 'm paraphrasing. At one point my husband asked when you get a second could I get a straw? and her reply was well can I put these plates down first? The service was so comically bad that we were all looking at each other trying to figure out what could be making our server behave this way and we were completely at a loss. We were all so uncomfortable that half of us couldn 't even eat. I have never experienced such service, which I would hesitate to even call service... this was like an SNL skit of someone who was literally trying to get fired or win a contest for making her guests most uncomfortable. We went for Brunch on Sunday 5/2/21. We 've been to Ned 's several times in the past for late night drinks and everything was fine. However we will be avoiding this place like the plague just to avoid running into this woman ever again."

"Took an order to go. Bartender was super friendly, was trying to order something that was in the online menu but due to the pandemic wasn't on the in house menu. The sous chef came out and talked to me and made something close to the item on the old menu that I was looking for. My wife's entree (parpadelle) was still on the menu, and was delicious. "Great vibe. Very high end so if you 're more of the pubs that smell like puke kind of person I 'd recommend you stay away from this place. Lets see..service was great, the 'Wine Tender ' took time to explain the different types of wine, all to our blank expressions since we had no idea what he was talking about. The decor is awesome. Something NY isn 't used to..nice decor. We 're so damn lazy when it comes to visual creativity so walking into a place with a great look is always appreciated."

"Great locally sourced food which is delicious! I have visited many times at both locations they have resided at, my most recent visit was a bit less than I was expecting. Apparently, it depends on the chef?...good but not as amazing as previous plates (I would go out of my way for their prior omelettes! A tad disappointed thid trip though). Will definitely revisit hoping for the epic food I've previously experienced. Nice open friendly place. No one preaching to you over brunch. Fire place, outdoor patio for nice weather."
