"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"Good food, nice atmosphere and great service. We actually dined at GlenPharmer for dinner and then hit it again for lunch the next day. For dinner, I started out with the grilled octopus. It was overcooked and very tough with a burnt flavor to it. I wouldn 't recommend it. The seared scallops, on the other hand, were exceptional. Beautifully plated and cooked to perfection...a five star dish. My wife also ordered the charcuterie board, which was very good and the portion size was more than generous. We each had several of their signature drinks which were spot on good. Overall, nice menu with some very nice meal options but a little on the pricey side for what you get. The next day, we swung by for lunch and was hoping for a lunch menu with some less expensive sandwich options. Unfortunately, the dinner menu was the same as the lunch menu. We were about to leave when our waitress told us what the specials were. Lobster roll was the special of the day; exactly what we were looking for and I am so glad we stayed. The lobster roll was up there with some of the best I 've had. Very generous portion size with very little mayo and a touch of lemon. It was a real winner! As for their booze...try the Bean Vodka. This vodka is coffee and vanilla infused. It was so good, I had to buy several bottles to take home. Aside from the octopus plate, everything was very good and the service was excellent both times. "I just have one word that describes my experience here. WOW It was an absolute experience coming here. We were in town for my birthday and decided to eat here for my bday dinner/last night in Charleston. The vibe and atmosphere were classy, fun, and calming. They have a main bar area where you can grab a drink while you wait for a table and can be quite lively later in the evening. The dining rooms are towards the back, a lot quieter and more intimate so has a flavor for whatever you are into. The service was absolutely perfect. Our server (I wish I would have gotten her name she served our party of two at 10pm on Saturday 8/17) was so insanely friendly and personable. She knew her stuff and then some when it came to presenting the menu, but also would come chat with us and give us tips and recs for Charleston as she knew we were from out of town. They also gave us a free cheesecake and glasses of champagne on the house for our celebration. Just overall made us feel incredibly special and welcomed (we don't normally eat at places like this lol). The food, omg.....I am not overstating or being hyperbolic.......this was hands down without a doubt the greatest steak I have ever had in my life. Nothing even comes close. I had the Dry Aged Ribeye, and it has completely ruined steak for me because nothing will ever be that good. My girlfriend got the Filet, and it was in the same ballpark. Just legendary. We also got a side of the lobster Mac Cheese and it was fluffy with a perfect crust on top. Amazing flavor and texture. If you ever have the opportunity to dine, do yourself a favor and go. This was one of the best dinner experiences I have ever had. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience to the wait staff, the chef, servers, everyone there played a part and gave me a memory I will hold onto forever. Thank you!!"

"We 've eaten in many steakhouses, and most of them tend to have a stuffy atmosphere. Abba 's has a relaxed, bistro-like feel about it that we found refreshing. The food was excellent. Every item has Abba 's own spin, and everything worked. We had the very large porterhouse. It rivaled any steakhouse and surpassed some in its seasoning and presentation. The wedge had an unusually tasty dressing that made it distinctive and delicious. The french onion soup had a depth of flavor we hadn 't experienced before. The creamed spinach was a new kind of enjoyable, and the hash browns were perfectly prepared. Our server, Stacy, was a joy to work with and made our Valentine 's evening out a night to remember. Highly recommended!"

"Stopped in for the tour, a few brews, and brunch. The staff and the tour was absolutely amazing,the building is beautiful, the beer was incredible... the food... sadly, is where things fell apart. The crepes, according to the wife, were the worst pancake I ever had (and yes, it was that thick, she wasn 't lying) and while the burger I had was passable, but the fries.... not even sure what that was about.. they were. . Dried husks of potato? Like maybe they had been cooked in a microwave or a food dehydrator (no, really, they were that dry)I feel bad leaving this review, because the tour and the beers we tried were really that good, and the people were awesome... but the food.... maybe just visit for the tour or the beer and eat someplace else?"

"This place is walkable from our house! I?m not a huge Cajun fan, but I love the feel of this place so we still stop by every so often for a drink and a snack! I love how it?s a family owned and operated business, and the owners are often around to say hello to! The full bar is stocked and they have some great draft beer options as well. They go in and they have to give the interior kudos, they almost feel a world away. the food card is simple, concentrates on food clips we know, and a mix of foods that are away from the whole pond. concentration strongly on fried fish and chips. "We came here for something to eat and watch the football game while our kids were at soccer practice. After 30 min of waiting and talking with our waitress, we had a young very inexperienced female manager address our table. She explained to us that they understood that we couldn't wait 40 min for our food and that meal ticket times like that are both acceptable and expected. We started to frequent here because of its location to our fields and have had well over 20 people on a Saturday or Sunday after our local games to have lunch here. The food wasn't bad, the service wasn't bad but clearly management feels food is not their business, and the longer you wait the more beer you'll likely drink? I don't see this place busy like Cronies or Hooters and I'm understanding why. This manager really was poor in all her efforts which by calling her discussion with us any kind of effort we are being very gracious. Our only voice in any type of business is our choice to spend our money, these people will see no more. A restaurants only product is customer service everything else they do anyone can do at home and for less money. This manager should learn that."

"It seems we visited on an off day. We encountered a long wait, and our food wasn't served hot. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, but it came out completely dry. I had the fish and chips; while the fish was fantastic, the chips were just average. They also forgot the tartar sauce, and we had to wait a long time for refills on water and soda. Most of the waitstaff appeared to be teenagers. There was another table that arrived after us, yet they received their food much faster. With our toddler in tow, the extended wait for our meals made us regret choosing this restaurant."
