"This small campus candy shop is really great. While I do agree with some of the previous reviews that the sweets are a bit overpriced, I believe that customers come here for the nostalgia factor, to see sweets from their childhood, or simply for the comfort of having all the sweets in one place. You can select your sweets, put them in a bag, weigh them, and then pay. During my visit yesterday, I paid $3.74 for 1/4 pounds of candy. Some of the regular sweets may be cheaper at Walmart or Target (for example, a candy bar was around $1.59), but this shop is a charming place to admire sweets and remember the treats of your youth. The waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful."

"Orange bloosom has pistachios and is my favorite. I enjoy eating ice cream that taste like your eating flowers. The pistachios is an added special treat. Reminds me when I was a kid I use to chew on rose petals. I like rosewater. The herbal snow with rosewater is delicious. Turkish coffee no where else in LA this good. Rosewater Saffron with Pistachios hummy. Pomagranete refreshing. My son ordered two scoops: he enjoyed the strawberry and green tea. He said they individually were exceptionally delicious. He would not have combined, he said they don't complement each other however they are his favorite flavors and said by themselves are exceptional. He said the strawberry was like infused with so much flavorful strawberries that he had never had a strawberry ice cream anywhere else like he did at Maschti Malone's."

"Neisha is my favorite Thai restaurant in the DMV area. We've been coming here for the past 4 years and will keep coming back. The food is generally less sweet but more savory comparing to Sisters. And the portion is more reasonable for the price you're paying."

"I absolutely loved my experience at the Berghoff! Our waitress was kind and attentive, and the service was incredibly quick for how busy it was that night. We had the cheese curds, and my main was the smoked salmon napoleon. Food came out fresh and delicious! We finished off with the black forest cake which was a delight, perfectly balanced sweetness. I'll definitely be back!"

"Had the Sirloin with a baked potato. Sirloin was cooked perfectly and flavorful, but the potato was just average. Only major complaint was most of the bar looked like it had not been cleaned off the entire night. Dirty glasses and plates everywhere. On top of that the back counter of the bar where the liquor/taps are had a bucket and towels just sitting there, with more empty glasses and plates just scattered about. Bartender was talking on the phone a good portion of the time and I saw other customers having to flag her down to ask for things. She was friendly enough when talking to, but found her demeanor to be fairly unprofessional. Restaurant itself is beautiful and location is great. Just not the type of presentation I would expect from a place where your average entree is almost"

"I really enjoy Aquitaine. I am a frequent customer to one located on Tremont Street in The Southend, amazing service and food. This is my 3rd visit to the Dedham location and this experience wasn’t the best. I was greeted nicely and promptly seated, after the service was lacking. I waited 10-15 minutes for someone to greet me at the table and offer me water. Another 5-10 minutes before we got our order taken. Once the food was brought to our table, we did not see our waitress, until I had to wave her down for some water. I was shocked by the service because it wasn’t to busy, actually people were leaving the restaurant. Overall, 2 star experience!"

"Warm and cozy : Kafein is a very special place. Baklava is Lebanese style; I was assuming/expecting a Greek stlye baklava, so that caught me by surprise. Great coffees and teas and other treats served here by friendly new owners. I'm so happy this place resembles the same as it did in the 1990s."

"This is a review of their ability to handle a large event order. NOT their products. Product tastes great. This was a wedding order...emails leading up to placing the order were friendly but....super slow response times and questions were not fully answered. They also forgot answers we gave to questions they had asked us. They didn't have enough staff for a tasting. Ok.. but not even one free slice of cake to taste? We bought samples anyways and the quality was there even on a random weekday from their case. If I wasnt so dead set at having a cannoli cake and heard good things about this place I would have looked elsewhere regardless.... Then scheduling a delivery was a total mess. First it was they could only deliver 8 am to 12 noon. After begging them they suddenly could deliver 12 to 5pm. Then the cake didn't show up. Nothing showed up. We called. No answer. We emailed as a shot in the dark. They happened to read the email...responded an hour plus later and got the desserts there another 40 min after that. They said it was a new secretary who tagged the order wrong for the next day. My sister in law ran to Tony's before we had heard anything back. They ended up reimbursing us for the stuff we got from Tony's. Only after me asking them to. If we hadn't asked for that they were only offering a 100 dollar VOUCHER. We had a large wedding cake and 2 trays that wouldn't have gotten to the event if we hadn't emailed them the same night...yet at first just a 100 dollar voucher? We lost the floral we had for the cake during the switch and thus il giardino cake looked naked because we werent expecting to need much frosting decor because of the flowers...... they did follow what we were looking for on the design of the cake but with out the flowers it looked wrong. I get it its a small business but from what I know its been around for a long time. Must be because of the pastrys because it's not for the event order coordination or customer service."

"TCBY is our go-to place for frozen yogurt. We love that you can get your own toppings and own portions. We've always had great experiences when we come. Some of our favorite flavors are white chocolate mousse, Oreo, caramel, and strawberry. They also have sampling cups so you know which one you would like. It can get a little pricey the more you add so make sure you're not adding too much! Although it is very easy to add too much because they have some great toppings. We went tonight when they were having a special and it was very busy yet we got there the line very quickly and found a table. Very friendly service every time we go. We don't go anywhere else!"

"My experience at Sweet Frog was decent. The prices were slightly higher than I expected. As a first-time visitor, I found the staff didn't explain the process very clearly, which resulted in me spending more than I intended. That said, the yogurt and toppings were excellent. I did feel a bit lost without a clear understanding of how everything worked at Sweet Frog, but the overall quality of the product was impressive. "We really love this place and visit every month. However, I have to admit I was disappointed during our last visit. The drinking fountain was broken, so they asked us to pay $1 for water. Additionally, the hand-drying towels were out in the restroom, and the soap dispenser was empty. They placed a bottle of hand soap on the sink, but that also ran out. Someone even added water to the bottle to try to squeeze out a little more. These are simple issues that could and should be addressed. Usually, we don't encounter any problems at this location, so I hope this visit was just an isolated incident."

"Quaint meets Industrial. This Firehook Bakery location is in an industrial neighborhood and is mostly a production site bakery, not great in appearance, but don't fret the aroma and sight of the goods will get ya… if in the area passing through you can drop in for drinkable coffee, outstanding baked goods, and some pretty darn good breads! We've made this a pit-stop every time we go out to the mountains, wine tasting or country picnicking, it has the ideal products to make your cheese, wine or sandwiches really' good! Highly recommended."

"I decided on a medium cup of cookies and cream soft serve topped with chopped Twix bars and plain m&ms, which cost me $7.87. Although I could have purchased a quart of Lowes Food brand Cookies and Cream for $2.99 to $3.99, along with a Twix bar and a personal serving of m&ms for around $3, I enjoyed the experience and didn't have to worry about doing dishes. My cousin indulged in a mix of various toppings (a sugar overload), while his wife opted for vanilla and the five-year-old chose plain strawberry. Everyone left satisfied and happy with their treats. This is a special indulgence for me, but next time I plan to try the no-sugar-added cheesecake flavor with peach (ice cream or yogurt)."
