"We made a reservation but ended up waiting for 20 minutes without being seated, so we decided to leave. Every five minutes, the hostess mentioned that they were cleaning our table, which was hard to believe since we waited for so long. Additionally, the front door was a major hazard! During our wait, we saw three incidents where waitresses were hit by the door as they were coming in and out with food. We witnessed food getting dropped and dirty plates spilling over the staff. After the third incident, we had reached our limit and left. It was incredibly stressful watching everything unfold, and it really made us concerned about the safety in the restaurant. Such a liability!"

"Was in Pensacola for work and desperate for something that wasn't just a filler so I picked Restaurant Iron. I was hoping for tasty and they didn't disappoint. Delicious is the appropriate adjective for the Nola BBQ Shrimp Grits (thanks for the recommendation Meg). I believe it was a basil olive oil edging that really set the bar for flavorful. I wish I had snapped a photo because the presentation was also on point. The Iron Rose cocktail was fab and I would have gone for two had I not been driving. Bravo Restaurant Iron! Update: Back for more 10/22. It is still delicious and Meg was still there! Iron Lyonnaise with Red Fish this time and full of flavor."

"Considering I'd made a reservation, I didn't expect to be told upon arrival that we could only be seated indoors at the bar or outdoors in the arcade. I chose the latter but it became clear that it was too cold, windy, and noisy. Eventually, upon request, we were allowed seating at a table indoors. My cocktail was merely okay and I suspect, watered down, while my companion's was ineptly made. My burger arrived suspiciously quickly and despite being cooked more than requested, was rather cool, suggesting it had been prepared in advance. The fries were good but not exceptional. Pricing was reasonable, however. The interior is small and there's a cozy ambience. However, there's only one restroom right off the dining area, meaning one has to wait awkwardly until it becomes available, in full view. Our waiter was pleasant but inexperienced, and someone stopped by the table who may or may not have been the manager, but as he didn't introduce himself as such, we had no idea. The overall experience was middling, so I wouldn't hurry back."

"Love, love, love this place! It was my second time in Chicago, I ate here the first time I visited, and I decided to bring my entire family the second time. Iron Age, Korean steakhouse did not disappoint!We got there during the dinner rush, there were already a lot of people waiting when we got there, but they gave us a table real quick, under 10 minutes.Right away the table what’s up, they give you some oil and salt and chili sauce for your meat with some sides. We ordered several items on the menu, I don’t know if the portions were big the first time I came, but the portions were humongous. It wasn’t a problem, but we didn’t get to try that many items on the menu because we were full with the first round of meat we ordered. wish the portions could’ve been smaller. Our server was friendly, but didn’t return to the table that often. The atmosphere was really nice, the music was really great. The food was delicious. Just like the first time, my belly was satisfied. I love Korean barbecue, and this place knows how to separate really well. Highly recommend you make sure the portion they are giving you is for 1 to 2 people, depending on your group. If it’s too big of a portion, let your server know if it’s too much and they’ll take it off the table.They do have a policy, where if you order too much, and do not eat it, they will fine you by charging you extra. You cannot take food to-go."

"We really enjoy this restaurant, mostly because the servers are friendly and the prices are reasonable. It's great to find delicious rolls at pre-inflation prices! Our favorites are the Ninja and the Flaming Hey Lee. However, I wouldn't recommend the curry or the udon; the rice in the curry isn't very good, and the udon is just average. But the rolls offer excellent value. Overall, it's a nice, laid-back, casual spot. Quite lovely!"

"There were 4 of us. The seating and atmosphere was nice. A majority of the food was good except for the steak that I had. I ordered it medium to medium rare but I got well done. Also a side order of hot rolls was not with the food and I had to flag the server twice and got the rolls as I was finishing my over cooked steak. Probably won’t go back since they don’t know how to cook protein."

"From the moment we sat at the bar, for a pre-dinner cocktail, Elizabeth treated us like family. We enjoy drinks while exiting for guests to arrive and felt like we had been here many times before. When we all sat down, the crew serving us were amazing, they were taking care of us like we were the only guests they had and they were quite busy. We had about 4 bottles of wine, 5 apps and 4 different entrees. Everyone loved the wines, the apps were all very tasty and we all loved our meals and ate everything on our plates. I was the only person that had dessert and it was chocolatey and fresh. It was a perfect night to celebrate the support of a very important client."

"Food was alright... not that great, was looking for a good steak and on yelp showed this great presentation of ribeye or mignon and the only one in the menu was skirt steak and was good but not amazing. Ceviche was good but the salmon I ordered was over cooked and taste was just ok. Not impressed... my date ordered a mojito as is the specialty of the house and my he said was not good. Disappointing... should had asked the bartender to try to make the mojito again but didn’t want to be that annoying person. I was referred by a friend to try the place as I’m always trying new restaurants."

"I visited this restaurant based on online recommendations and I was not disappointed! The burgers were massive, and the prices were quite reasonable—not too low, but not overpriced either—you really get your money’s worth. The burgers were cooked perfectly, and the pimento cheese on top was fantastic! The Cajun fries were well-seasoned and delicious. The customer service was outstanding. Vantrell did an excellent job preparing the food; he was professional, respectful, and attentive. After dropping my wife and daughters off to park the car, I joined them in the lobby while waiting for our table. They looked somewhat upset when we finally sat down, so I asked what was wrong. They told me that the hostess had greeted them quite rudely, complaining that our last-minute reservation was a major inconvenience for her. It was frustrating to see that 90% of the tables were still open at that time. If I had known about this disrespectful treatment prior to being seated, I would have chosen to leave.
