"I just had the most illogical and frustrating experience with my latte request.I wanted a “small” 12 ounce drink, but i wanted 2 shots which they call the next size up … she told me that they charge an extra $3 for an additional shot in the 12 ounce, so the better deal is to buy the bigger “2-shot” one, which is 16 ounces. The trouble is, I’m diabetic and i need to watch my carbohydrates, so i wanted 12 ounces (with 2-shot caffeine content), but the pricing scheme compelled me to get the bigger one, and I’m just going to throw some of it away.Instead of alienating a customer, and following an illogical pricing model, she could have just poured a little less milk in the bigger cup, and my calorie intake would have been less but my caffeine desire would have been in tact.AND less product saves the company money, so it’s in your best interest to actually serve less milk in the end.I was trying to “shop local” and support a small business, but instead i left frustrated and annoyed by a policy and pricing plan that doesn’t make sense. Please look at your model— this situation is quite frankly ridiculous, and the inflexibility has alienated a potential repeat customer."
