"I decided to try their famous curry chicken, but I was a bit disappointed. I could barely taste the ginger or curry; it felt more like a chicken stew! Unfortunately, they also ran out of rice and peas, which was a letdown, so I opted for the yellow rice. It was decent but nothing special. The steamed cabbage was overcooked and lacked flavor, with a bit too much salt. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning, but I have to mention that the young girl at the counter was fantastic!"

"This is the family with teens go to for wings and fried everything. We get either 20 or 30 wings and chicken legs. They are always on point, and provided hot sauce is tasty and provided in generous amounts. More of a cornmeal style breading. Of course fries happen, but I opt for a side of fried mushrooms because there is an art to waiting for them to cool slightly then nimbly eat them without burning your mouth. Yes, the veg is Cole Slaw this round was a little creamy so we sprinkled on abit of apple cider vinegar when we got home. Greens in Silver Spring were good, like Gloria 's. In Baltimore they run spicier than I care for. Great selection on desserts. It 's all carry out for the past 2 years. Some stores have the furniture stacked, for a dive atmosphere Baltimore Glen Burnie. Silver Spring was actually nice!"

"I called forward to order. had no idea how this would be eating, but went on recommendation of a shuttle driver in the hotel where I stayed. I could smell that huh from the outside. going into the door, it was a bit dark and dark. I couldn't smell from inside. No one came out to welcome, but no problem I had my phone practically. I called the same number I ordered, and they said it was done in a short time. 10 minutes later, food was made. 3 pieces fried chicken dinner with a whole plate or rib and 3 orders ordered by maisbrot. kept it on the way back to the hotel, but held. the first look at eating, I said, that's gonna be good and you haven't disappointed. the chicken was fried and perfectly seasoned, the greens had the bite of edgy. the ribs were melted in their mouth tender, with a perfect sauce. the Mac cheese was not terrible, but could have been better and the grain was good, but only a little dry. many thanks for a beautiful house cooked meal with love"

"I purchased the fish and whole chicken. The food was fresh and hot. Seasoned very well. This wasn't my first time patronizing. I've had shrimp, hot wings, talipa,whiting, oinion rings are the truth. The french fries they can work on, lack of taste and moisture. I had the Salom salad (OMG) delicious! However, if you ask fir cheese... lol they don't have it. Over all the food is very tasty. The only thing I purchased thus far I wouldn't buy again is the rice, mine was very dry, and lack taste, no seasoning. I only tried it once, that was enough. The tenders are good but fried very hard!Oh, if you don't ask for condomints you won't get any!! Lol.As you can see, I frequent this establishment quite often. At least once a week. I enjoy the customer service, the cleanliness of the establishment as well."

"Ok so I do not dine in. But that DOES NOT mean anything..im usually the to go girl??‍! Lol. Anyway...the food here is just great..like super yummy. I really really love their chicken and lamb over rice..its basmati rice..it's the best rice ever. Then they add lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers on the side with the gyro sauce. It works. And im usually cold food and hot food cannot touch but with this I'll eat the salad with the chicken and rice.I eat it like im starving..its so good all the time..but so are lots of their foods. It's worth the stop and grab guys?"

"Tried the oxtail dinner tonight for 1st time and I'm sorry but it was trash for $20. I should have taken a pic of that mess. They give you a mountain high pile of sides. The Mash potatoes piled up sky high to the top of the lid also the collard greens as well just a big mound. Then the greens juice spilling all outside the to-go plate all into the plastic bag Smh. Then on the other side you see this minimal amount of oxtail Smh. To say the least it's not even about the quantity of meat. What about quality. The meat wasn't falling off the bone at all. I shouldn't have to fight with the oxtail meat to chew it off the bone Smh. That could have stayed cooking a little longer Smh. Nevertheless I will not dare try that again. I will stick to my fish grits which is right next door to this establishment. Thanks but no thanks"

"I had to wait 45 minutes for my walk-in order. I asked them specifically to make sure they seasoned my food properly because they didn?t do it correctly the last time I ate there, and when I finally got my food they barely put any seasoning at all and my fries were lukewarm. There were multiple customers upset because they had called their orders in over the phone at least an hour in advance just to come in and have to wait 15-20 more minutes. I asked for two hot sauce cupswhich they gave to me but each cup combined wasn?t even one full cup of hot sauce. Never eating at that location again."

"I was disappointed with my meal at this restaurant. The onion rings and hush puppies were burnt and I couldn't eat them. The scallops and whiting were okay but lacked flavor. There was no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce offered, and I was surprised to find no utensils in the bag. I felt that the meal was overpriced for the quality, and my husband also felt it was a waste of money. I hope this is not a common experience at this restaurant, as I am providing this feedback in hopes of improvement for future customers. I apologize for the negative review."

"my first time in the restaurant where I dived. the welsh shrimp dinner. fish was delicious and so was garnel. fries was hot. the teersauce was not good, but I prefer hot sauce anyway, so it made little difference to me. the hush puppies were too chew on the inside, but outside was perfect. they were friendly to me and service was fast. Although I was the only in the restaurant when I left, I was not recognized as I left. I like picky, but the feeling the new customers should be treated as if they want them to be regular, as the many take-out customers receive greetings and salutations as I observed. only 3 stars received because eating, price and service was good. nothing spectacular, but what you can expect from half an almost food restaurant. I'd go back."

"I will not comment on the service at this restaurant since it is a takeout place. However, I was very disappointed with the food. The fish was quite dry, the macaroni salad was overly salty, and the collard greens were the worst part. They tasted bitter and lacked any flavor. I suggest that the owner remove the collard greens from the menu if they are unable to properly prepare them, and instead focus on improving the other mediocre dishes. I was able to finish the fish and macaroni salad, but ended up throwing out the collard greens."

"I visited the neighborhood and tried the Big Baby after reading about it online! I spend a lot of time in Detroit because I truly enjoy the city, from the Eastern Market to the Zoo, Belle Isle, Mexican Town, and everything in between! The trip was definitely worth it—fantastic sandwich and friendly staff behind the counter. It's a pity there has to be bulletproof glass separating customers from the workers, though. "This restaurant has changed its name, and I'm not sure if the ownership has changed as well, but my experience was disappointing. The service was lacking, and my catfish was undercooked. I ordered two fish sandwiches, one with whiting and the other with catfish, but both were so thin that they seemed like they were cut from the same fish. To top it off, they only provided one slice of tomato for each sandwich, and they were literally the end pieces! I can't tell if there's a genuine struggle going on there or if the cook simply didn't care, but I won't be returning. I was hoping to support this place, but that experience has changed my mind."
