"I hadn't visited Jack's in a long time because I moved, and I was hoping the food would still be great. Unfortunately, I found the fish to be quite salty. I didn’t think to request it without salt. On the brighter side, I enjoyed the coleslaw. However, the hushpuppies were disappointing—they were bland, heavy, and overly greasy. Our waitress was very attentive; she helped us with our food and side dish choices and made sure to ask if everyone wanted coleslaw. She also kept our drinks filled. The seating areas and restrooms were clean, which was nice to see. Overall, our family had a wonderful time reconnecting after so many years."
