"Mama Shelter January 2023Hip spot for rooftop views etc. but do not stay there!Like many, I discovered the hip rooftop vibe. Great views of the beautiful mountains and my hometown! A bit pricy now, but still fun. The inner downstairs bar is much more mellow, which is good too. Anyway, always wondered what the hotel part was like you know?Yeah don 't do it.1st the rooms are way too small (for what you 're paying .2nd the bathroom? NO tub?! Lame. AND some man child engineer made it so that you have to go under cold water in order to operate shower! AND ladies in order to get close to the mirror (to see your face, wash it, do make up etc. you have to brush the toilet! Yeah, again some painfully stupid man probably engineered the bathroom literally to be not user friendly! Every time I had to scrape the toilet to use the mirror, I was like really?In the room, over the credenza is this huge 60 's lamp that is literally in the way at every turn. It literally blocks out part of the room!Went down in the morning to get coffee right (January 15th . One young lady said sit anywhere, so I did. Over comes this light skinned black male server to harass me. He 's like, yeah you need to check in with the hostess. I 'm like, I 'm just getting coffee. I was sitting at a four top in the empty restaurant and he starts going on on about that. Is it a party of four?! he demanded. What the hell? Is there some reason a paying hotel guest is hassled and can 't get a freaking cup of coffee?I asked for it to go since he was so hostile. He did nothing. Didn 't bother. Again paying hotel guests at Mama Shelter cannot even get a cup of coffee.Another employee took pity, was super nice brought me coffee.If that male server is still there steer clear!Overall, not a good value for the money. Which is too bad. Rude servers don 't help either. At least most of the bartenders are cool.But the rooms, the bathrooms the horrible service make it a no go for the future and I 'm letting everyone know that."
