"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I had a coupon for a $4 croissant with coffee, but when I reached the window, they told me it would actually cost nearly $6. I showed them the app, and the manager offered a free hash brown instead. I explained that I wasn't interested in the hash brown—I just wanted the deal I was entitled to. In the end, I was told that a croissant and small coffee would cost me $8.49, which left me confused since there's a sign outside advertising the croissant for $4! It felt like I was only being offered a free coffee with the coupon. I felt that if they were going to provide the offer, they should honor it. When I voiced my frustration and said I would just forget it, the employee responded, "Okay, just forget it." I must have looked bewildered. I usually visit this place regularly and had just come from a dialysis appointment, so I was simply in search of breakfast. It felt like I was being forced to choose between paying $8 or leaving. I even pulled over to a parking spot hoping a manager would come out to apologize and offer me a sandwich, but that never happened. Now, I plan to email corporate because no one deserves to be treated like this. The employee even told me I should have paid the original price, claiming that they were now charging me double. It's unbelievable."
