"I have been to Moose and Stella's several times, the last being just last weekend. It is always a delight and I really meant to get pictures, but what can I say? You're hungry and this wonderful person welcomes you in with a smile and brings you fun for the taste buds! I forgot the pictures!If you've never been to Moose and Stella's in Kalkaska, it is a tribute to Dogs in every way! You can't help but smile as you look around at not just the canine motif, but also the happy folks already seated and devouring their own choices.The place has an amazing atmosphere and the folks in the back and upfront are pleased to satisfy whatever you crave! (As a confessed food addict, it brings tears to my eyes!)My Wife ordered the Crispy Chicken Wrap, and yes it was! Loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomato, two types of cheese, jalapenos and a chipotle ranch dressing, it was just the perfect balance of heat and flavor.My Daughter had the sweet tooth amongst us, and fortunately for her, breakfast is served all day, and she ordered the Challah French Toast and bacon. And no, she didn't offer us any! Guess I'll have to check it out myself.I was thinking lunch. They had a Rodeo Cheeseburger that came with beer battered fries. Though not on the menu, it was the daily special, and yes it was!I always tease myself with fries first, but I'm here to tell you; those fries almost ran away with the show!I managed to save myself a couple and then stared down the burger. A half pound slab of ground chuck, crispy bacon, two huge onion rings and slathered in BBQ sauce. Do you need a napkin? Better have a stack! Dripping in awesomeness!Mission accomplished, fat sassy and satisfied. What more can you ask for?Check please!"
