"Drinks at the bar were weak. Food was awful. Rice was nasty part was mushy and overcooked, part was undercooked and crunchy. Meat was tastless and overdone. Nothing had any kind of flavor at all. I will never go back here for a meal again. Disgusting! Go any where else!"

"If my review was based upon taste alone, it would be 5 stars. But, sadly, for the price, you get very little plus a free ice cream cone. The location was clean, but upon approaching the order counter, we were not greeted. I had asked for chips with my meal, but didn't receive any. I was not charged for them, so I left it alone. I expected larger portions but received an anemic sandwich instead. The other meal was scant as well, with a very conservative serving of soup. The chips were nothing but Ruffles brand chips, and I'm glad I didn't spend any money on the handful I would've received. The tastes were bold, though, and I love bold tastes. But, in this day and age, it seems like prices go up and portions go down."

"Jason’s Deli at Camp Creek has definitely seen better days. It's strange how they limit the number of napkins you can get; you find yourself having to ask for more each time. The ice cream machine is unpredictable, similar to the one at McDonald’s. While I was there with my family, one of my kids managed to get an ice cream cone, but by the time my other child was ready to get theirs, they had "run out of supplies" for more ice cream. They also ran out of corn muffins during our visit and didn't have garlic toast, brown muffins, or special crackers available. The only option was multiple baskets of Saltine crackers. I brought this up to the manager on duty, named Kerby, but he seemed indifferent to the situation. The salad bar has become mediocre, and so has the overall service. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon, but unfortunately this is the closest JD to me. I should adopt the same indifferent attitude as the manager. I also overheard several other customers expressing their dissatisfaction during my visit (Sunday, April 14, 2024)."

"Honestly, I like this location. The workers, although they seem tired and overworked at times, they 're ok and don 't have REAL NASTY attitude like some other locations. They do seem tired and just drained but I 've had MUCH WORSE experience at other Jason 's locations, so....The one thing that I really don 't like at this location is there 's always a worker at the salad bar that always appears to be cleaning (which they do), but I also feel like they 're there to micromanage the salad bar.With all due respect, we 're not children and to feel like we 're being watched while we 're making our salad is really just very 'intrusive '. I don 't like to feel like I 'm being watched as I make my food. It sends a 'silent message ' to customers that Jason 's Deli doesn 't trust its ' customers. We 're not elementary school children that need a teacher standing over us to manage our portions. We 're adults. We know how to do this.At upwards of $15 for sandwich and salad, NO ONE should be WATCHING us as we make our food and trying to silently intimidate us as we make it. We 're not children. We 're ADULTS. We 're making our salad the way we want it and getting the appropriate toppings that we need to enjoy OUR custom made salad.It 's one of those things that 's going to make me go elsewhere. My money is PAYING these workers who feel the need to WATCH is as we make our salad.I love the food. Hate the micro-managing at the salad bar by the workers."

"I was delighted to see that the salad bar was back, but I was a bit disappointed to learn that it was limited to just one trip. Usually, I like to make a salad from one side and then go back for more from the other side. However, the staff member behind the counter was fantastic and allowed me to make a second trip. They provide gloves with the salad bowl, but I typically only use one since I'm only handling the spoons and tongs with one hand while holding my tray with the other. The food was excellent, and the restaurant was quite busy. I did notice a few pieces of food had fallen into the sliding tray area at the bar. Unfortunately, the ice cream machine wasn't working. On a positive note, the Gingerbread muffins were as delicious as ever!"

"Just make it yourself. $16 for a sandwich and a handful of chips. That's literally all that needs to be said. You can buy good meat, good cheese and good bread at a deli and make two sandwiches that areeven better. The handful of chips is just an insult.KIDS CHICKEN STRIPS WERE HORRIFIC. My daughter loves chicken strip, gets them everywhere we go. She took one bite and said ew. I tried it. Worst looking and worst tasting chicken strips maybe I've ever had. Jason's isn't a favorite, so it took a little bit of a chance going and giving it another try and it just was a disappointment in every way."

"Although I like the food, the restaurant always seems to disappoint me in the service. Tonight was no exception thier was a large party trying to order and instead of opening up a second register the other two women just kept chatting and walking around. Finally after the large party was finished they opened a second register to serve the three 2 party guest in line. Sad"

"This is a great spot for lunch, whether you're dining alone or with a group of up to six people. There’s plenty of seating available at movable tables for two, and the dining area is comfortably air-conditioned. The salad bar is extensive, adding to the appeal. One unique feature is that staff will bring your food to your table after you order and pay at the counter, which is becoming quite rare. The food is delicious, and the sandwich prices are reasonable for a downtown location. The staff is friendly, and the dining area is kept very clean."

"Jason was the person that took my order, and was over the top friendly, and the order was accurate, and included gf options for my wife. Food runner was amazingly nice, and even included extra chips, and a cookie. There were no problems with our order, but he was very apologetic about what he though was an extra long wait time for my wife and I to get our food. We did not think it took that long. Place was busy so we expected a bit longer of a wait than normal due to this. Expectations were met, and exceeded. Dietary restrictions: My wife is gf, and has never gotten sick from any Jason's Deli locations."

"This last weekend was the first time I had the pleasure of visiting Jason’s Deli here in Schaumburg, IL. I was with my sister at the time and we were seeking an establishment for lunch that wasn’t going to be greasy and fatty. She recommended this restaurant based on her past enjoyment of their food so off we went. We arrived and there was a long line and we almost left but noticed the line was moving quickly so we stayed, picked up a menu and began to decide what we wanted. The line did move quickly and after 5min or so (I wasn’t monitoring time) I was ready to order. I ordered a Club Royale with chips, and a large drink. I received my cup, an order number and then found a table to await my order. We didn’t wait long and our food arrived as we ordered. The sandwich was very tasty and the chips were pretty standard as far as potato chips go. My order is pictured with the accompanying price for such an order. After I finished, I helped myself to a free ice cream cone which is from a self-serve soft-serve ice cream machine. On this particular day only the chocolate ice cream was working but that didn’t bother me since I am a chocoholic! Great meal and atmosphere but a slightly high price tag. Looking forward to next time!"
