"I ordered a few raw half-shell oysters and some Rockefeller oysters. Both were good, but I felt the Rockefeller could have been better. The flavor was on point, but it had additional ingredients beyond the oysters, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just not to my taste.
As for the decor, I was really impressed. The flavor of the oysters themselves was exceptional. I initially wanted to try some steamed shellfish, but the preparation method wasn’t something I was familiar with, and I preferred to stick to more traditional preparations (I tend to lean towards white wine and light broth rather than heavier tomato-based ones).
My dining companion ordered an appetizer that we had high hopes for, but it was somewhat underwhelming given the price, which is why I’m giving the restaurant four stars instead of five. We didn’t feel the need to bring it up with the staff since we’ve learned what not to order next time.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return in the future!"
