"Mile End is a Montreal-style Jewish Deli. To that end, it is not high on ambiance. The food was very good, although the portion of my $15 smoked meat sandwich was small and came with no accompaniments (I even had to pay for the pickles, which are usually complimentary at most delis). I was headed to a show at a nearby theater, so it was convenient at that time, but I would not travel out of my way to go there."
