"We made a reservation for 4 people/ When we arrived, the hostess seemed surprised that our reservation was for 4 people, yet I confirmed the reservation with OPen table a few times. After we were seated, we sat for 10-15 minutes with no one approaching our table to take our drink order. We later discovered that our waiter was not informed that he was to tend to our table. I was not very pleased with the experience. After all, why make a reservation, confirm the reservation, only to have miscommunication occur at the restaurant, which caused us to sit idly for several minutes with no waitstaff to approach our table."

"we've been to rick a lot. this was not representative for the culinary experiences we had in pastness. the service was very slow, although there were only three tables occupied (we were almost two hours there; the dinner at rick’s lasted in the regular about an hour.) an article we ordered was no longer available, but we were not immediately told, and then my wife had to run through the menu again for a court of replacement. the grilled calamari was quite rubbery, although the garlic sauce was good. the sesame-crossed thunfish with wasabi was rare when I asked him to be and was tasty. the salmon my wife ordered was also good, but she ended most of them home, as the bowl of the mushles was very large and filled. that was nice al dente. we had brought a bottle of New Zealand sauvignon blanc; it fits the aromen of the food well. the waitress seemed more interested to be swapping with people at a nearby table than getting food to the diners. we will go again, but another experience like this will rethink us later."

"The salad bar is simple and that's why it is perfect. Very fresh vegetables and a variety that makes for the best salad. I had the char broiled shrimp with a dry potato and it was wonderful. The cocktail sauce was done just right tonight. My hat is off to the chef. Mary was very personable and prompt. Excellent meal and service tonight. Well done."

"The experience was just mediocre overall. The layout of the bar and restaurant is too segmented, and there could be a better design to create a more open atmosphere. They do have karaoke nights with acoustic performances. The staff was inconsistent—sometimes friendly and attentive, but other times not. On the plus side, there is parking available. One thing to watch out for is that they automatically add gratuity even for a single-person tab, which was not mentioned by the bartender upfront. As a result, we ended up over-tipping, and I can't believe how much we spent for just two people drinking beers over three hours. I probably won't be coming back."

"This restaurant is fantastic; it feels like a delightful blend of a bar and a café. It mainly serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with the exception of fish fry days. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff who warmly greeted the regulars by name. My family received a warm welcome as well. The place is clean and well-maintained. The food was outstanding—we sampled a range of items from the breakfast menu, and everything was delicious, from the perfectly cooked eggs to the tasty pancakes, sausage, and bacon. The lunch menu also looked appealing, offering a good variety at reasonable prices."

"I've been to Hudson Valley Steakhouse for both Happy Hour at the bar and for dinner. The food menu at the bar is limited but great selection. I tried something recommended by a friend, carrot chips. I don't know what I was expecting but these wereamazing! So much so, I didn't want to share. I even order them for dinner though they are not on the dinner menu. Other favesare Applewood Smoked Bacon app, Wedge Salad, Tomahawk Steak for 2 and HV potatoes. Friends tell me the seafood apps are alsogood. I'm allergic to shellfish so did not try any. It's on the pricey side but worth every penny. I suggest going for specialoccasions or date night. The staff is friendly, attentive and accomodating."

"party was amazing. the place is beautiful. my food order came 5 times wrong. literal 5 times. despite my order wrong and served something I was allergic, I bought a $300 bottle of alcohol. the menu on the table listed a bottle prosecco for $75 and they tried me $150 for it smh. that was my first time I tried to eat it and it will certainly be my last. sucks because the place is so majestic."

"We had bad weather when we were there so we had to wait a little <10 minutes for our table due to people who would have been sitting outside now had to sit inside. But that was not their fault. The hostess was super friendly which made the unexpected wait better and once seated our server was also super friendly and attentive. Order was taken promptly, appetizers and drinks arrived promptly, and main courses arrived soon after appetizer was finished all good timing. We had wanted to sit on the roof but could not due to bad weather. So we sat inside which is a little noisier than we would have liked. But all in all, an excellent dinner and experience. West End Tavern is one of our favorite places in downtown Boulder we've been there plenty of times and will go plenty times more :"

"Came here for a lunch and the sandwiches we had were pretty middling. We happened to enjoy the fries more than the sandwiches. We had to ask the server about our food as we waited over half an hour for two basic sandwiches. I would give the review three stars but I think two is more adequate because there are much better restaurants in Hudson to try out."

"Ordered via Door Dash on Sunday, everything was excellent (except my missing drink but not sure whose mix up that was). The Greek Salad was amazing, I ate the whole thing which is not my usual and says a lot. Their fries are so good, I love fries like that but nobody uses them, or at least not the places I’m getting food at. And the salted caramel dessert ugh SO delicious. I asked for extra whipped cream and they delivered! If I didn’t live five hours away this would take over as my favorite lunch spot with ease. Edit to add: breadsticks came with my order, they were great. The chicken breast could've been seasoned more but was good and cooked properly."

"I enjoyed lunch with my wife and four friends at this restaurant. We were seated promptly, and Danny took our drink orders right away, offering water, soda, and iced tea. Our food arrived quickly after we placed our orders, which included several BLTs, a crab chicken sandwich, and a burger. Everything was delicious! Danny was attentive, bringing drink refills without us having to ask and ensuring everyone was happy. We received excellent food and service from Danny. I highly recommend this place!"

"Firstly, our waiter was super nice, and attentive. The Crawfish voodoo rolls were amazing, definitely recommend forever. I ordered the stuffed catfish and it was very good, the portions were large. My boyfriend ordered a chicken entrée, and we both ordered pasta. We definitely had to take some home, our waitress recommended so many great things on the menu. I can’t wait to come back here, it’s not too pricey. You get what you pay for, for sure!"

"Interesting place to eat. Good news is that there is a ramp for handicap/limited mobility people that runs along the side of building. Front steps can be a challenge, as well as parking is limited on street parking. The five of us had various dishes at lunch. Everyone was satisfied with their food, but nobody raved about their dishes. Not a chain restaurant so that is a plus in our books. Half shrimp Po boy and gumbo, half shrimp remoulade and bisque, stuffed eggplant, fish with pecans."
