"Good, not great food. Highlights were the chicken in the chicken and waffles. Great light batter, but they were tenders! More details on that comment in my con’s. Biscuit was tasty, but gravy not so much. For the cons. Be clear that they are tenders and not actual chicken pieces, which is what we were hoping for. Thankfully, the batter was amazing and made up for it. The waffles were waffles, nothing special. The maple syrup was bitter. Not hot sauce as they describe, but like black coffee or something. Can’t put my finger on it, but was the first thing to come to mind. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy also had a similar taste of black coffee. Can’t put my finger on it, but nothing like homemade country gravy that I would expect. I usually drench my biscuits with gravy to drown out the dry biscuit, but in this case i ate the biscuit dry and threw out the gravy. If you know me, I love gravy so this is weird. Don’t get me wrong, the gravy wasn’t bad, just not what i expected from country gravy. No sausage flavors, just a little bitter white gravy that I didn’t particularly enjoy. Finally, not as pet friendly as claimed. Outside only and outside sitting is seasonal. Would have been great to know in advance. Would have also been nicer if they were more empathetic. They do pack their food to go well and kept the wet and dry items separate as I asked."

"on Friday at 11 o'clock. a whole jugend baseball team had a brunch on the terrace, so I expected a waiting time. fortunately there were some tables inside and a seat at the bar. I chose the bar as my location for today, so I could look into the kitchen and watch the whole action. a thing I immediately noticed, looked like the whole personal was female. it was really hard to say if I saw all the staff, although they were cudding! I noticed a lot of collaboration and communication. I'm sure they'll make a manager in here. as usual I ordered the traditional benedikt as my Litmus test. it didn't take too long, maybe 10 minutes and out came my brunch. it looked completely, smells really good and the presentation with the perpetrator deaths worked well for this level of kitchen. as usual I cut into one of the small ice cushions of quality and came the liquid gold of a perfectly boiled fried egg. the hollandaise tasted butter and had a little warmth from an prise or kayenne above the top. in any case, my mouth made happy! the tater dead were perfectly cooked and the linkover hollandaise perfectly dissolved. Of course, if I wanted nit pick, I would say that the hollandaise was a bit thin and should have had more taste from the lemon juice, the butter quota was a bit off and was not completely emulsified. the English muffin was slightly understated, but I liked it was a bit bigger, but the eggs had to be extra big to keep this feeling of symmetry. the Canadian speck was not, he was sinking on the flattop cooled. nothing is wrong with a flattop ham. the dead could have used a bit more salt from the kitchen. but don't forget, I don't choose. overall I enjoyed this place, the decor is cute and the personal friendly. they also offer alcohol, from mimosas to **** mary’s, the bar gardeners had a happy morning while I was there. I'll come back here and I'll have the benedikt back. so few places can make it right that if it is so close, they use it."
