"I've been wanting to check this restaurant out for some time now and finally got to stop by for dinner! Sala Thai is tucked in a corner of a busy shopping center and is located next to College Postal by Vons. The ambiance is lovely, and we were greeted, seated, and given menus. I got to try their pad sew ew, pineapple fried rice, mango sticky rice, and Thai tea. The pad sew ew was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. However, the pineapple fried rice was lacking in flavor, and there were hard pieces of rice in it. The mango sticky rice was savory and sweet, and my Thai tea was fine after they added more creamer to it. Overall, I had a good experience and would consider going back."

"When we arrived, our reservation was not available inside as we had asked. This was strange because we have had the reservation for many weeks. We then tried outside, but the noise level was too high from the street and the musician. Then we went upstairs and there were very few people and the noise level was perfect for those of us with poor hearing. We were surprised to see that the corkage charge had increased from $25 up to $30. This is the highest charge of the restaurants we attend in our area. The evening ended up being a very nice experience after not so good start . "

"Absolutely delicious! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that their hours on Google need to be updated (if that's not something they can control, I’ll definitely change this to a 5!). We were having a staycation at a nearby hotel and got really excited when we saw the menu online, but when we walked over, it was closed! I was really craving the bake roll, so we ended up driving across town to return in the evening, and it was totally worth it. So good!"

"I have passed this spot a few times and knew I wanted to try it someday. That someday came when I was in the area for Formosa Chocolate's Popup and it was a nice stroll to this spot for lunch. It seems to be a popular local's spot as a few customers came in commenting that they were so happy they were back. A first timer myself wasn't sure what that meant only to discover afterwards that they sustained damages due to this year's atmospheric rivers. Can totally relate as my house also sustained some storm related damages as well. Every dish we had was so flavorful and they were so accommodating to dietary restrictions and spice levels. When you are made to feel like family, it is no wonder they have so many repeat customers who care about their well being as well. From the fish cakes (Tod Mun) to the extremely addictive Lao Special Nam Khao of seasoned pork, crispy rice, peanuts, dried red peppers , fresh mint, and cilantro and the Red Curry Salmon that had a perfect amount of kick without it being too spicy, I could not resist getting food to go for my parents as well."

"We hadn't visited Nava Thai for some years, so yesterday we chose it for lunch. The restaurant was very quiet. It used to be a steak house a long, long time ago the décor is eclectic. The food makes up for the atmosphere. The lunch menu was very limited no satay! We had papaya salad and chicken orb both were delicious but on the small side. We asked for the level of spiciness between Thai spicy and medium. Our entrees included panang curry, drunken noodles and chicken and cashews. All were full of flavor. We had attentive service too."

"This was our 2nd visit to Soi4 Bangkok Eatery. We were so impressed the first time, that we came back for another try. Almost everyone at the table took advantage of the lunch specials which were a decent value. The Pad Thai and Red Curry Prawns were just as amazing the 2nd time. The noodle dish with beef, pineapple fried rice. and lemongrass chicken were all winners as well. Everything in each of the dishes was fresh, cooked perfectly, and had amazing flavor. If you like Thai food, this is the place to be!"

"The service overall was good, however the server on the phone didn’t know what kind of food we were ordering, even though it says it on the menu in google maps. Either someone didn’t update the menu or the server didn’t know the menu very well. Their thai iced tea is good, i ordered the pad se ew and it was more mediocre. They also didn’t put in utensils or napkins into our bags. Overall the experience was okay, just remember to check ur bags before leaving."

"I wish I had given this restaurant zero stars. I ate in this restaurant a few years ago and the food was decent, not great, but reasonable. We had dinner there last Saturday night and the food was nothing less terrible. Now I have been a little pampered since I lived in Thailand and my wife is from the Isian area of Northeast Thailand (Nongbua Lamphu Province). At first we were attracted to this place because the chalkboard in front of the restaurant advertised both Lao Raw Beef Salad and Ant Egg Salad (Ant Eggs imported from Laos). Since my wife loves both dishes because they are popular in her hometown, we went in. As it turned out, the restaurant had neither even though we were there at 6:30. We ordered Som Tam Ba La (Lao style), but the waitress said they did not have Ba La (not sure how you cook Lao style food without it). My wife spoke to them in Thai and told them to make them “Thai spice as in Thailand” but the court came only slightly spicy. We ordered Larb Pla, a Thai salad, made from slightly cooked minced meat and spiced with rice powder. The dish they had brought out had pieces of deep fried fish and many Khao Taut (Fried Rice Cake pieces) and no spices at all. We also ordered Pla Rad Prik and the sauce tasted as it had been made with canned tomato paste. But the thing that really told me that this was not a Thai/Lao restaurant was the rice. We ordered Khao Neow (Clebrian rice) but what they brought us was the short-grained, non-glutinous rice that is very common in northeast China, Korea and Japan and not the Thai sweet (glutinous) rice that is common for Thai/lao cuisine. I would avoid this place at all costs."

"The decor was standard for a strip mall restaurant, but the place is spacious, clean, and has plenty of tables. I think the previous restaurant in this location was a Chinese place called Chopsticks Inn, but it's been so long since I've been there—about 20 years! As for vegetarian options, there weren't many available. The parking lot is large and shared, which is convenient. There isn’t a kid's menu, but the food is suitable for children. Lastly, the front door isn't automatic, so keep that in mind for wheelchair accessibility."

"The café itself is small, but impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The freshness of the ingredients and the delightful aromas were just perfect. I can’t wait to return! While it was a bit pricey for us, the meal was so enjoyable—especially for us food enthusiasts who appreciate trying dishes we wouldn’t usually make at home. I’d much rather let the experts prepare it! They also have a lovely outdoor area protected from the wind and weather, which would be nice when the climate allows. Plus, there’s a beautiful fireplace to keep us warm in the winter."

"This was the worst dining experience we ever had. 1 Our waitress never brought us water. We had to ask another waitress for water. 2 One of the waitresses dropped a bowl from a table she was busing it sprayed sticky stuff over one of us. 3 People who came 5 10 minutes after we did were getting served. 4 An hour into waiting for food, a waitress asked us if we needed more water or were ready for the check. We told her we never got our food, and she responded by saying oh sh . We asked for the food to go because it was getting late. Another 10 15 minutes passed and it became clear the food order never made it to the kitchen. At that point, we told them we 'd just pay for the one drink we ordered and wanted to leave. 5 I politely explained why we no longer wanted the food. The waitress wouldn 't look me in the face and hid her face with her hand (or maybe she was holding her head, idk). Either way, she never apologized for our experience. She did however, argue with the kitchen staff in front of me. And all this is not counting the fact that one of the waitresses spilled a glass of water all over another party 's table while we were there. Yikes. It must have been a rough day, but we won 't be returning."

"I ordered through Uber Eats, and the food arrived in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I have to give a low rating because I discovered rice bugs in my side of jasmine rice. Thankfully, I didn't pour out all the rice."

"Best Thai in Stafford! Always a solid choice for tasty food served piping hot with friendly service. Thank you for another great meal. This visit we had the Tom Kha Ga (chicken in coconut broth), pot stickers, cashew chicken and pad thai. It was delicious as always! Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and accommodating toward our son who has special needs and can be loud and impatient. Made his food super mild, kept onions out and brought extra dish he wanted. Adjusted thermostat when he was cold and then back again when mom was too hot lol Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Mango with Sticky Rice, Soup, Cashew Chicken"

"Ploy has fresh food! The flavors are out of this world. The portions are generous. The atmosphere is so peaceful and elegant. Prices are spot on! Sushi is choice and there are many options to choose from if you love rolls you are missing out! The rice is served in a heart shape for extra added attraction and a nice touch. Dessert is a must. Love the Thai iced tea. The meat they use is grade A. Come visit you will want to come back. Great, fast and friend service as well."

"We were a group of three and made a reservation in advance. I can't say for certain about weekdays, but on Sunday night, the restaurant seems to get busy around 6:30-6:45. Here are our experiences with some of their dishes: the pad thai arrived without sauce and was bland, the white tom yum soup was average, the seafood stir fry was decent but nothing special, and the Thai garden salad was delicious but the unseparated cabbage was a drawback. The standout dish was the red curry with duck, which was absolutely delicious and felt authentic. The cozy decor creates a great atmosphere, and while parking can be challenging right in front of the restaurant due to sharing spaces with other stores and street parking, there is plenty of street parking just a few minutes away up the road."

"Had the buffet with a friend today. The food was pretty bad. The only thing that tasted alright was the rice. None of the food tasted like Thai food. Tasteless with all overcooked meats with old vegetables. The eggrolls were bland and filled with nothing but veggies even though it said BEEF. The sweet and sour chicken was very bland and pieces overcooked. Tried a fresh egg foo young pancake and their “gravy” which was more like brown water. It was terrible. A soggy tasteless pancake with some veggies in it. The kung pao beef wasn’t even spicy and was not very good at all. I tried the yellow pork dish and the meat was very cheap and overcooked. That was the only dish that seemed to hand any taste but was just some over cooked pork and Bambo shoots. Lastly I tried a scoop of fresh “lo mien”. It had a faint peanut sauce taste but really bland as well. I will definitely never go back again. The one older woman was very kind and always refilling our drinks but the food was just not good. There are other Thai restaurants around Milwaukee that I’ll be sticking to."
