"The service was mediocre. Waitress was extremely slow, ordering entree took much longer than expected. Order alcohol drinks, which sat at the bar for a longer period of time than usual. Celebrated 2 birthday guests at our table. All in our party have dinned at Havana 1957 Pembroke pines numerous times before, unfortunately this experience was not the best. Food was ok, seemed like the food sat in the kitchen window as when the food arrived at our table, food was warm/ almost cold. It was very warm inside of the restaurant, not as comfortable as in our previous experience. The photos that the photographer took of our table was horrible and rushed . Majority of the pictures came out horrible with photo spots on a lot of the prints."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was amazing. I ordered the lechon (porkloin) and congri (rice with black beans) with tostones (fried plantains). The portions were generous and delicious. I also ordered churros for dessert. My husband had the steak sandwich, which came with thin-cut fries inside - it was a tasty combination. I will definitely be returning to this place."

"We wanted to try Caribbean food while we are at Newyork. The food was amazing and it was up to everybody's expectations. We tried various drinks and dishes and my personal favourite main is octopus dish. We tried tres leches and flan for dessert. Flan was everyone's favorite but the portion size is smaller than tres leches. Nice presentation and overall good experience."

"We had three people at our table, and our food was brought out at different times. By the time the last plate arrived, the other two had already gone cold. The staff was gathered in a corner, chatting loudly as if there were no customers present. Throughout our meal, no one came over to check on us or see how we were enjoying our food. Additionally, the prices are quite high for the quality of the dishes served. You can find better food, more flavor, and much better service at another Colombian restaurant down the block. Overall, this is a place I will not return to and cannot recommend."

"In the area and decided to try something new. The energetic greeting upon arrival was a setup for an amazing dining experience. Never having tried Cuban Cuisine, we relied on Carlo our server’s suggestions. Seated by the fireplace offered a greatopportunity to experience all that The Cuban had to offer. From the views of the bar with TVs to the area that looked to be astage for live music. It allowed us to pan the entire restaurant and even see the birthday guests be serenaded by the Mariachiband (I guess they’re called Mariachi). Actually, every table is a good one. It was the fireplace for me????. The staff wasvery friendly, our server was knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and prompt. The food though… everything was on point! The empanadas were filled with lots of delicious meat. This is the reason only reason my plate wasn’t cleaned????. Theatmosphere, energy, food and exceptional service all made this experience one to rave about. The Cuban offers pickup anddelivery service and brunch on Sat Sun 11am 3pm. The Cuban is next door to the bowling alley which might be the reasonparking out front can be a bit challenging but there’s ample parking in the back. Stop by The Cuban and prepare for anamazing experience!"

"Unprofessional The evening started out well until a large group of finance Bros walked in. They immediately started making chants and being loud. No one told them anything so they continued to get more confident. It got to the point where one of the guys decided to jump on the congo drums and started disrupting the musicians from playing. Once again no one told this group anything. So another guy tried to jump in as well to the point that the female singer had to tell the guys to get off the stage. I had to back her up and yell at the guys because they were in a group of about 20 so they didn't care. The group continued to jump on stage and disrespectfully started banging on the drums. Another guy grabbed the mic and started yelling. The manager (female blonde) only stepped in after I had to tell the guys to cut it out. The manager then comes over to me and tells me that this is not that kind of restaurant and she's got it under control. I responded with she's unprofessional and had let this go on too long. She then responded with they are spending a lot of money. I then told her she's not from this country or culture and this had reached to a level of disrespect that is unforgiving. She then asked me to leave but never bothered to tell the group of men to leave. The whole restaurant was on my side applauding and backing me up when I told the guys to cut it out. Even the other employees did not bother to bring me my check until I asked for it. The singer also thanked me for helping out and the employees all apologized except for the manager. I am really bothered by this experience because it definitely has undertones of prejudice/racism. I strongly feel if the manager was not a white lady and the guys were a table of non white men that this would have played out very differently. How would the manager have more compassion for that one table but not the rest of the restaurant. Unless they come there often and slip her extra cash for allowing them to be crazy. Either way I will never support this establishment or any other establishments that Ramon Mario Zarate, Ewelina Sylvia Klopocka and Marcos Javier Stoart own. These owners should be ashamed of the kind of business they are running in a city where people work really hard to spend good money to enjoy themselves. Especially in these difficult financial times."

"I love this place! This is my second time here and the staff and manager always go out of their way to give great service and make you feel special. Highly recommend for a date night, the food and drinks are delicious! The decor and atmosphere are also top notch and gorgeous! They also have a dj at night as well as great drink specials and happy hour. Needless to say this place deserves a visit, run don't walk here, you won't be disappointed, I promise!"

"A real GEM in the heart of Antique Row. Very small, intimate setting. Suggest seating in the patio in back. Be aware, NO table service and open seating. You have to order at the counter and then they bring it out (very quickly I might add). But, OH MAN, the food! The tacos were tasty and generous. Had the Chancho, Brisket, Pork Belly and Short Rib tacos. Favorite was the Chancho. Had a wonderful taste. Kind of sweet-savory topped with radish slivers. The street corn was the best I've had. Topped with cheese (nope, I don't know what kind) and pickled onions, it was tender and muy bueno. Finish with the Churros. What a way to end a great meal. The best I've had outside of Madrid. Served with Dulce De Leche that I could have drunk a cup of. Paired with a cup-a-joe was a delightful finish. After dinner, walk off that full belly along Dixie Hwy's antique shops."

This was my first time in Miami and after driving over America I decided to make a stop in South Beach. I was greeted and received inside and offered various stacks to my surprise in one place. I started with the Cuban coffee, which is a unique blend of coffee beans and contains expresso that there is a full but delicious taste. Then I ordered my Cuban sandwich, Steak-Fajitas with grilled peppers and onions (comms in a pot) and my sides, the Moro (black beans and rice) and Yuca (latin fried potatoes) and everything came fantastic. My meal was hot and fresh, full of taste and the Cuban bread was love at the first bite. The steak was juicy, tender and very full. This must be a top-go-to that I highly recommend. Also get some cold and freshly squeezed orange juice (Naranja) welcome in Florida!"

I started visiting this restaurant after the owner of the salon where I get my hair done recommended the restaurant she said the food was great, but she was wrong the food is the best in the area. Presentation and prices are even better. My daughter is almost a year old now and we are still enchanted with every dish we try. From the appetizers to the most elaborated dish everything is just simply mouth watering. Just go there and try! "Met up with some colleagues here for appetizers and drinks after a meeting and it was just perfect! We tried all the empanadas (beef, chicken and spinach/cheese) and each one is excellent. The happy hour cocktails were excellent according to my friends. It is cozy and has tasteful paintings and decor. The wait staff are attentive but never pushy. They make you feel comfortable and never rushed to leave or that you are not welcome. Even arriving a bit late, they were open to making sure that I was also taken care of. This does not happen everywhere. Some places may seem annoyed. This is a go-to restaurant for many professors visiting in the summer months and also during the year for meetings. The crown varies in age. It is a very welcoming place with authentic, freshly made cuisine. Everything is made from scratch. You can tell. I highly recommend this restaurant for any time of day. You feel tucked away and transported to a different place for a while. Lovely conversation can be had. Definitely a place to visit."
