"Delightful! I had several meals at Sensei by Nobu throughout my stay. Thankfully the one restaurant on site is stellar for breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. Much like the entire Sensei experience, the service at the restaurant is above and beyond. Definitely snag a table outside in the shade for a comfortable and scenic breakfast. Evenings can be cooler but blankets are graciously provided. Anytime I see a Japanese breakfast on a menu, it's a hands down must order for me. I particularly enjoyed the onsen egg and simmered vegetables. The poi donut was also a tasty treat. One thing that Sensei by Nobu does really well is flavorful broths. I was smitten with the shabu shabu although it is a smaller portion. The whitefish tempura with the calamansi sauce was also a standout."

"I ate here with my family before we went to a musical next door at the Pantages. I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. We started with baked crab hand rolls, spicy tuna on crispy rice, and crispy brussels sprouts. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone. My daughters loved the hand rolls and crispy Brussels sprouts, but weren’t fans of the spicy tuna on the crispy rice. The crispy rice is highly dependent on the jalapeño to balance the flavor, so if you don’t like spicy food, it might not be for you. I highly recommend all of them. I just wish the hand rolls were a bit larger. My daughters had the miso soup and enjoyed it. Afterwards, we had the corn crunch rolls, Katsuya roll, and shrimp tempura roll. I’m not a fan of the Katsuya roll, but it’s okay. The other rolls were very good. The aioli sauce on the corn crunch is delicious. They are very good at making sure to get your food out quickly if they know you need to make a show time."

Had to wait about minutes for a reservation with a reason that the table needed to be cleared, but the table they seated us at was clean and set when we we checked in. Food was great. Waitress was great, but small table with multiple people and shared dishes and no one bussed the empty glasses or dishes until after the meal, making things congested."

Dude said he put peas and carrots in the rice but didn't tell me he put mad onions in it.. My dish had now veggies than my girl's..I don't like onions, bean sprouts, carrots and cabbage. I had all the above..I looked at the 2 dishes.1 had a lot of veggies so I have it to my lady.i asked her how much stuff she had in hers cuz mine was loaded with everything I told them not.. "Blowfish is a trendy restaurant at Santana Row, and that’s what you’re paying for. I’ve been here 4 times, and 3 times the fish has been awful. The 4th time it was edible, but still not great. It’s definitely a hipster restaurant, and though the anime playing on the lcd tvs on the walls is kind of cool, I can’t stand how loud they blast their music — you literally have to yell at your dining partner. It’s louder than at a club, and when I’m eating my dinner, sometimes I like to talk to the person I’m eating with. Why have I gone here 4 times if I hate it so much? The location is just so darn convenient for me and I keep forgetting how bad the food is… but we actually had to send a dish back last time because it was so terrible (a very promising uni roll) so I won’t forget anymore. The food is bad, the portions are small, it’s way too expensive for what you get, it’s way too loud, and oh yes, the service was also terrible. What’s good about it? Their drinks are pretty tasty, but they’re small and don’t pack much of a punch. Blowfish blows."

"Met out-of-town friends at Firebirds for dinner. Restaurant was packed but we were seated promptly and were even able to switch from a table to a booth. Service was a tad slow due to the number of patrons, but was fine. Food was great with the steaks and ribs being a hit. The chicken soup was closer to a stew, but tasty. Will go back."

"my roommate and i wanted to stop and get a bite to eat and we haven’t been to drunken bento in a while so we thought we’d stop by. the server was sweet but when i told her about how my roll wasn’t good (the “sweet potato” was white and cream cheese was sour) she immediately told me the policy of “we only refund if you’ve had this roll before” and said she would talk to her manager. nobody came to speak w me. a different server came by to drop the checks and walked away. when i got up to speak with the manager she informed me that all of them tried the roll that was on my table and “it tasted regular to them”. not only this but after we got home my roommate started getting sick. food poisoning. i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and won’t be back"

"Like I've talked about on my page before @arifsiddiqi1 and I celebrate our birthdays each year with an omakase dinner.This year we went to @omakasebyyun inside of @chiroriatlanta and the experience was amazing.Chef Yun was an apprentice at the Michelin rated @sushinazakawa who's chef was the apprentice of Jiro from Jiro dreams of sushi and coming from such prestigious training it was an understatement that I was excited when I first heard that chef Yun was making a shop in ATL last yearOmakase dinners are 18 courses so I'm just going to talk about some of my favorite pieces:1. Kinme-dai: golden eye snapper with lemon juice and seaweed salt. The special part of this was the seaweed salt, it has such a distinct flavor, along with the lemon juice and the richness of this fish it was amazing2. Mozuku: seaweed salad with lime juice topped with uni I didn't like uni before but this uni was creamy and went so well with the lemony salad3. A5 Wagyu Ribeye: lightly seared, topped with garlic soy, the meat itself was so rich, paired with sushi rice was so good4. Aki Tomago: shrimp and egg cake on top of sushi rice this is easily the best Tomago I've ever had chef Yun def learned the way of Jiro on this oneIf you guys enjoy omakase or have never had one before you should definitely check out Omakase by Yun, it's an awesome experience and excellent food."

"I took my mother here to Mother's Day and the personal was absolutely amazing! They saved us a really sweet stand I thought was very thoughtful! it was our first time and we had an amazing experience. our server was through! he was very welcoming, helpful, attentive and gave us the perfect amount of space while keeping us a close eye. the woman who greeted us was also so welcoming and sweet, but I didn't get her name. Appear and sushi were wonderful and well plated. my only negatiw was our Hibachi-Steak was a little underheated. it seems as if she probably sous vide and it was simply not very warm when it reached us. the service and the rest of our meal were absolutely fantastic, however, and we will be back. little one!"

"We were in and out in under an hour, despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy—there were at least five empty tables around us. From the moment we arrived, it felt rushed. The food was served too quickly, which raises questions about its freshness. Given the price we paid, I can only describe the food as mediocre at best. I understand that dining in a casino tends to be more expensive, but we were genuinely disappointed by the experience. It was supposed to be a special date night, yet we found ourselves feeling unsettled, wondering why we couldn't simply relax and enjoy our meal. It felt like a real waste of money."

"I hadn't been here before, but since I was in the area for a meeting and needed lunch, I decided to give it a try. The calzone sounded appealing, and I’m glad I went for it! It was delicious! The pepperoni was full of flavor, the spicy red sauce was just the right amount, and the ricotta had a nice creamy texture without being too soft. I also really enjoyed the side dishes. We were greeted by Amanda and our order was taken at the counter by her. She was very helpful in explaining the menu and answering our questions as this was our first visit. After your order is taken your given a place holder for the table and your food is brought to your table, sit where you want. The Wife ordered the “Duke” a calzone filled with generous portions of bbq chicken, applewood smoked bacon, corn salsa, smoked cheddar, smoked chili oil and mozzarella cheese. 11.29$ Decadent and delicious, she really liked it. I choose the “Meat me in St. Louie” containing pepperoni, provel Italian sausage/ricotta blend and garlic oil. 10.99$ Quite tasty could have had more filling, but very good! I tried their bottled root beer this was outstanding but wish it would have been ice cold. We enjoyed our visit here and plan to return. I have sampled several items from their menu, including the vermicelli salad and the filet mignon entree, and each dish is prepared with remarkable care and a focus on quality. The creativity in the dishes is evident, particularly with the vermicelli salad, which I consider to be reminiscent of a deconstructed pho. The cocktails are equally well-crafted and delicious. "2024 update: By far the best place to get craft beer in Houston, now that all its closest competition has closed down. Food has gone downhill a bit and is generally mediocre typical bar food and has gotten rather overpriced, but it 's still in the top 3 for German food in the Houston area. German potato salad and beer cheese soup now brought back to the menu, in contrast to my earlier review and bratwurst are authentic and quite good. Pretzels are not what they used to be and are no longer recommended. Beer specials are now $5 after inflation versus the $3 from my original review; this is still a very good value compared to the $7 10 that most beers normally are. For the last few years since COVID the upstairs loft is often no longer open presumably due to limited staffing, so you are frequently stuck in the louder main dining room. Previous 2017 review: The number one place to get craft beer in Houston, with 70 80 on tap and over 100 in cans and bottles. Also they have a few wines and a full bar for those who don 't like beer, though they are missing critical ingredients to make most cocktails. The draught list is constantly changing so you can find something new every day. Cheapest days are Mondays when 2/3 of the draught beers are $3 or Sundays when the Texas draught beers are $3 . Tuesdays have trivia, Wednesdays have special flights basic flights are available every day , and Thursdays have rare beer releases. Service is generally excellent, though occasionally the waitress is inattentive/disinterested or just plain absent. All staff are well trained on beer knowledge and can give good recommendations and offer tiny tasters to help you decide. Food is decent by bar standards, though perhaps not as competitive as it used to be, with the best selection of German food inside the loop don 't miss the soft pretzels or the bratwurst, though unfortunately some of the best German items have been removed from the menu RIP the once excellent German potato salad and beer cheese soup . Also there 's typical American fare such as nachos, chips/salsa, and pizza. They even have some vegetarian options that I regularly order as a non vegetarian, namely the excellent Hippie Hollow pita with hummus and vegetables inside, along with jalapeño dressing . No burgers as they have a limited kitchen. For repeat customers, they have a membership program that gives you a magnetic strip card and a T shirt for $18, so you can track your beers. After 200 unique beers you get a plate saucer on the wall with your name on it; along the way you 'll occasionally get discounts as well. As someone who works across the street, this keeps me coming back time and time again. The place can be unfortunately loud and is frequently packed in the evenings, though the loft above the bar and back hall are more tolerable. It 's possible to rent out the loft for private parties, though that entails a fairly substantial minimum purchase. The only bar games are a couple dart boards. Part of a small 16 store chain across Texas and the Deep South."

"So I work right across the street from this coffee house. I have been there twice and I AM HOOKED! The 1st time I got the 'Rule 34 ' which is a multigrain or sourdough toast with cream cheese, cucumber, smoked salmon, and garnished with lemon and fresh dill. It was delicious! I also ordered the 'Overdrive ' which is a Matcha Mojito, again DELICIOUS!! Now I am currently sipping on the 'Dark Web ' and it 's some the best cold brew I 've ever had. It 's a mint mocha cold brew garnished with fresh mint. I 'm in chocolate and mint HEAVEN! This is accompanied by an almond croissant. My Monday is going great so far. Oh yea! I got everything so fast I couldn 't believe it! So much faster (and better) than that coffee place everyone knows about... this place will be my new go to!
