"Made a reservation on Open Table for my wife and another couple. Told them we were celebrating my wife 's Special 70th Birthday with them. We dined inside and were seated at a table for 4 along the windows. Both the host and waiter said nothing when we arrived to acknowledge the special occasion. The noise level inside the restaurant was extraordinarily loud which made it challenging to hear each other across the table. To make matters worse, the restaurant had loud music blasting inside. When it came time for dessert I had hoped the waiter would surprise my wife by bringing out a special dessert with candle. Instead he simply brought out the dessert menus. We then opted then to skip dessert. As I was paying I mentioned my disappointment to the waiter, letting him know I had made a specific comment on open table of the special birthday, and they did nothing. He said I don 't know anything about Open Table. Next time, you would be better off to call . Well, there won 't be a next time. Don 't dine here if you are expecting any special treatment or acknowledgement for a celebratory occasion."
