"We arrived with a reservation and were seated right away with a smile, despite a busy lobby on a Friday night. Our server, Stephanie, was outstanding. She checked on us multiple times, brought our drinks promptly, packaged our leftovers as soon as we finished, and promptly provided us with the dessert menu. Many places tend to ease off once you receive your meal, but she maintained good service throughout. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes. We ordered the Chicken Marsala, Salmon Oscar, and Chicken Parmesan. For dessert, we had the Gigi's butter cake, which was amazing. Highly recommended."

"I always enjoy dining at Maggiano’s from a typical family dinner to a romantic date night to a Thanksgiving dinner. The generous portion, great service, and quality food are always there. Our waiter, Jeremy (young man with glasses) was very knowledgeable, attentive, and polite/professional. It was a special occasion (my good friend, Aaron’s farewell to Germany for a great job opportunity) so I was looking forward to a very nice time with him. And I got just that on Sunday. Thanks Maggiano’s for always there for me for my dining needs; you are definitely one of my go-to restaurants in the Denver Metro area for sure."

"We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and perfectly prepared. The salads are crispy and dressed properly, and the wine list is huge and tasty. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top notch food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos, and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and local food to celebrate small businesses ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"If I recall correctly, I went in here about a week ago around 1 PM. First time here, found it on Google maps when I was just looking for somewhere I had never been. I cannot remember my server's name but he was a nice young man who provided amazing service. Fast, friendly and he checked back with me to ask how the food was the food was absolutely divine by the way! I had the lunch special. I went with the half chicken parm sandwich with potato wedges and the minestrone soup. It was so good I'm practically salivating on my keyboard as I type this... and it was only $15.99 trust me, the portions are big enough and the quality high enough to warrant the price tag AND make it feel like you got a great deal. I myself was not hungry for the rest of the day and believe me that's saying something. The decor was both elegant and inviting at the same time. It's a very swanky looking place but they didn't look sideways at me for walking in wearing shorts, a pair of well worn hightops and a Motorhead T shirt (in my defense: it was hot that day, I had no idea where I was going as it was my first visit and that band is awesome) Oh and speaking of music: they play some real classy tunes here. In the 45 minutes or so I spent dining and relaxing inside, I swear I heard some Dean Martin in there along with a bunch of other guys I don't know but definitely need to discover. The music, in my opinion, really helped to enhance the overall atmosphere. All in all, I think I found a new favorite Italian spot and I will definitely be stopping in whenever I'm in the area. Oh and don't worry about the Rams field or whatever's going on around the place, they are indeed open for business. The exterior of the surrounding (former) business locations and the lot may lead you to think the whole place is abandoned but at least finding parking is definitely NOT going to be an issue. I personally call that a plus."

"I booked my Mother's Day brunch at Maggiano's with my adult daughters. We were all looking forward to great food and service. We had a reservation and did not have to wait long for our table (even though it was not the area I had requested when making the reservation). Our food for the brunch was good. The beef al forno turned out to be an odd food choice. The special rosamosa that was advertised for Mothers Day brunch was sold out by the time we were seated at 1:45 PM. Our waitress seemed very rushed the entire meal. The pace of our brunch items were also rushed. The most bizarre experience with the waitress was the fact she kept leaving dirty silverware on the table. At one point, she was clearing the table for dessert and I had handed her my dirty knife and she placed it back on the table and announced she'd pick it up later. In fact, she left ALL of our dirty silverware on the table. There was tomato sauce all over our tablecloth. We gathered all of the dirty silverware towards the end of the table in hopes she would bus them. She did not and we had to ask her to take them away before the deserts came out. It was a simple request that became an issue because of her attitude. Her unwillingness to properly bus our table and rushed attitude took away from my overall experience for Mother's Day. I purposely chose Maggiano's out of all of the restaurants I could have chosen from that day. Little gestures of caring for your customer would have made all of the difference."

"Usually we have a great experience however this time was not very well. We had reservations for a Bachelorette dinner we arrived around we were not seated till around we never griped as we know you can’t make people leave tables. But they never communicated with us we had to ask for update as we had car services booked and needed to cancel them. They were nice and offered a complimentary appetizer which was appreciated. Our biggest gripe was our server, it was apparent he was over his shift and ready to leave. It’s was not busy and it took him forever to get our drink order or to even get food ordered. He rarely visited the table, never once offered water refills or allowed us to order more drinks, we had people celebrating a bachelorette and car service would have loved to have more than one drink as this was the start of our celebration. He forgot some of the meal, and after we finally got everything and ate we sat for at least minutes waiting to get our ticket so we could leave, having to reschedule car service yet again. Overall it was an awful experience as we had built up Maggiano’s to many of the attendees at the party and received worst service I’ve ever experienced. We were married at Maggiano’s and absolutely love the place but this was beyond horrid. We couldn’t even locate a manager to relay our disappointment in the service. As I said this was purely a server issue though, food was good, restaurant beautiful"

"We went there this week to celebrate a college graduation. Our waiter Kelly was amazing and attentive. The manager came by and congratulated the graduate as well, service was impressive. All the food was incredible. We had a party of five and everyone enjoyed their meal. We all had salads of different types, all were very good. The fried zucchini is a must have, recommended by our waiter. Portion sizes are very large, our waiter was worried I did not like my pasta as there was a lot I could not eat there. No, just after the great bread, salad, appetizers and eating what felt like a large amount of pasta there was still a decent portion to take home. Trust it was eaten later! Highly recommend the atmosphere and food for any day but especially for a special occasion. Thanks to the staff for making the day even more special for our family."

"Every time I visit, the food is amazing! The Vera's Lemon Cookies (six cookies) are a delightful way to finish the meal — they're melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The Sausage and Peppers dish is excellent, and the Shrimp Fra Diavolo is a regular favorite of mine. The Roasted Garlic Broccoli was steamed just shy of perfection for my taste, but it was still fantastic! Coming from the city of Brotherly Love and with Italian roots, I truly believe that food is love!"

"My family of 47 people just held an event here today in the private rooms upstairs. We’ve done this annually for many years, but today the service and food were spectacular. In previous years, it has been hit or miss. I wanted to write the review today to recognize the outstanding service provided by Melvin and Wilbert I’m not sure of the lead server’s name but he was a shorter, Latino gentleman. He was proactive, refilling our food without reminders. He was pleasant and very much on top of everything. The service was not rushed, not slow. A perfect pace with everything being brought out at the right time. He observed our needs carefully. I highly recommend the special events here due to the excellent level of service."

"Is there a better suburban treat than bringing the past few months of Lettuce Entertain You gift cards to your nearest Maggianos and pigging out? I know that my wife and I did this recently. Anything you pick is going to be tasty and filling. I’m very impressed by their cocktail menu: they even make very basic cocktails more “amped up” by adding interesting liquors or using nicer brands and fruit. We had the garlic bread for the first time, which can easily disappear quick. Kids will love it too. I have a bad habit of getting Rigatoni D everytime I go. I don’t think I’ll be able to break that habit! (It tastes even better heated up after aging in the fridge"

"We just love Maggiano's for food and their service. This Vernon Hills location is wonderful. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable. They always accommodate us with our request for booth seating. The pasta dishes are just the best and oh ya...their raspberry lemonade is soooooooooooo good. I love how we start the meal with some of the most delicious fresh bread that we soak in olive oil and parmesan cheese. They have another feature that we just love. When you order one pasta, you get one to take home so that is 2 for 1 and I love that. Their lasagna is so darned good and we both just love their chopped salad. David was our server and he was just so pleasant and efficient throughout our entire meal. Our check was presented and handled quickly as well, come by and enjoy a delicious pasta dish....you won't be disappointed."

"Pretty disappointed. Have been to Maggiano’s many times in the past and always had very good food and service. Our service on Sunday was awful. Server was disengaged and very unhelpful. Our salads came out thirty seconds after our appetizers. When we sent them back they simply held them and sent soggy salads back to us. Our entrees clearly sat under heat lamps for an extended period and were less than satisfactory. No care for the quality of what was being served. As our meal went in our server disappeared for extended periods of time. We eventually had to send a search party after her for our check. Truly disappointed by what in the past has been a reliable and very good restaurant."

"I give this restaurant 3 stars for what it offers. The pasta dishes are tasty, but they feel overpriced. While the pasta is well-made, you can find equally good options at non-chain restaurants for a lower price. My main issue was the fancy water they serve; it has the taste of tap water, and I'm pretty sure that's what it is, despite their claims otherwise. They charge $6.50 for it, which caught me off guard. When they asked if I wanted water while I perused the menu, I assumed it was complimentary. This small detail annoyed me—had I known I was paying for what felt like tap water, I would have chosen a Coke instead. It’s not a huge problem since my overall bill was around $80, but it still left a bit of a sour taste."

"Walked in yesterday amid graduation celebrations, baby showers. It was packed, yet they easily found room for our party of four. The service was seamless despite the fact that our server was handling one of the larger parties and two other tables. We had been here before, loved the food and the atmosphere, but had forgotten how much. This is a chain restaurant but you would never know it. Every course was exceptional. Special shout out for the fried zucchini with lemon aioli and the calamari. And don’t get me started about the banana split cheesecake! Special kudos to our server, Michele. She orchestrated everything without us ever feeling forgotten. That is a neat trick on a busy weekend. We will recommend Maggiano’s to any of our friends without hesitation. Can’t wait for the next time! I hope Michele will be there!"

"I love this place! although the restaurant was big, it had a cozy feeling. the Sinatra music in the background was perfect. our waitress was great, arrived at the table with a basket warm brot. my man asked her if she had something to choose his meal. that he knew he would love everything on the menu. she agreed that she could do that for him and he loved her choice. our appetizer from swollen mushrooms were melted in their mouth delicious. our meal was served piping hot and the helpers were very generous. we were offered to buy a deal a regular size escape to take home for just $5. she said we could put her in the freeze cabinet until we were ready. we took the deal!"

"Made a reservation for Valentine's you could have went anywhere else in the city but I wanted it to be special and experienced this place for the first time sadly I was highly disappointed. We were seated promptly but the service was awful took a while for the server to come to the table and the first thing she said was have we seen Genesis who was supposed to be our server. So we ordered our appetizers and drinks with another server who never introduced herself...and it took 20 minutes for the drink to come and it took 10 for the appetizer but it was Cold after that we waited another 20 minutes or so to be able to order entrees or another so we left. Terrible food terrible service overrated"

"I've visited here in the past, but it's been a few years. I fondly remember enjoying the family style dining. Most recently I ate here with a friend and it left a bit to be desired... They were busy when we arrived but my friend had made a reservation so we didn't have to wait long. We were seated in a corner booth type table. Friend is gluten free and we chose this restaurant as they offered gf pasta dishes. That did not disappoint. It was exciting to learn that all of their sauces are gluten free and they have a pasta offering as well. They had a special 2 for dinner special and we ordered that. We both selected salads, chicken fettucine alfredo and we had the caramel apple torte with ice cream on the side (ice cream is gf). I also asked if they offered a bread service and the waitress advised that they did. I was very excited for dinner! The food and service however were disappointing.... bread service arrived after the salads... There was confusion with the salads one was supposed to be gf, the other dressing on the side. Neither had croutons and both had dressing on them. The person delivering them was also confused with them and they gave us a bit of doubt about whether the gf portion of the meal would be accurate (this is very important when you have celiac). The pastas arrived and sadly they only tasted okay. I thought maybe it was a preference on my behalf but friend was also disappointed with the flavor. The sauce lacked flavor and texture.... I still had hope for the dessert but didn't care much for it either. The outer crust had a flavor I didn't care for and I didn't finish. The ice cream however was delicious! Service throughout the meal was sporadic but they were busy so we didn't think much of it. However when it was time for dessert and the check our waitress was ready and literally advised she would wait while i reviewed the dessert menu and made a selection. Overall, it was nice that they had multiple sauce offerings that were gluten free as this was a main driver of us choosing this restaurant, however based on food taste, I most likely would not return. There are too many other great Italian restaurants in st louis."
