"I first ordered a Bud Light draft, but they didn’t have it available. No problem—I switched to the Chatham Brew wheat beer instead. Before even taking a sip, I gave it a sniff, as I usually do with quality beers. Unfortunately, it had an unpleasant odor, like the keg had been opened three months ago. I brought this to the attention of the host, who claimed they go through the kegs every day. However, it was 9 PM on a Saturday with only three out of twelve tables occupied.
When I asked for another drink, the host smelled the beer and said it seemed fine to her, even suggesting, “Or you just don’t like it?” I hadn’t even tasted it yet. She encouraged me to try it, which I did, and to my disappointment, it tasted terrible. She offered to get me a different one if I wanted, which I appreciated.
However, after finishing the new beer, I noticed the host walked past my table seven times without asking if I wanted a refill. Additionally, we had to wait nearly half an hour for our check after receiving a to-go container, and we ultimately had to ask for it ourselves. I will not be spending my hard-earned money here again."
