"On a busy street across the street from a super market is a simple, casual ranch style building with terrific food. We used to go to Chatter's often. Why it fell off our list of go-to places, I don't recall. But I am glad that We went back--twice this month, Both times I ordered the grilled salmon, which tastes fresh and is served with brown rice, black beans and pico de gallo along with an assortment of mixed vegetables It is hard to find restaurants which serve the healthier brown rice.My husband had a Greek salad and then an artichoke misto dip served with carrots, celery and pita bread.The food here is mostly Mediterranean and Italian with a small selection of Asian dishes. The broad selection is both healthy and delicious."

"The turkey sandwich was made with cold cuts rather than fresh-carved turkey, and it was bland and served cold, as if it had just come out of the fridge. The French onion soup was presented in a cup no larger than a teacup. The owner charged an additional $2 for onion rings, and we received only seven small pieces in return. I decided to leave a minimal $2 tip, which he didn't merit, and it was included on my bill. Later, I discovered that he had added another $2 to my total when I reviewed my online statement. Overall, both the food and service were disappointing."

"EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE! I stopped by to pick up lunch, and the place was bustling, which is a great indication. The kitchen staff were hard at work but still very welcoming. I was particularly impressed by Brian, who was multitasking by answering phones, processing payments, and cooking in the oven all on his own. He certainly deserves a raise! Thank you, Brian, for the incredible pizza and warm hospitality. I will definitely be back!"

""We finally tried this place out today after seeing it empty countless times. The menu was extensive, with around 40 items to choose from. The staff recommended the Gyro, which I ordered with all the toppings. The meat was very tender, although a bit fatty. The portion size was generous, with about half a pound of meat on the pita bread. While the price was a bit high at $14, the taste was worth it. The pita bread could have been warmer, but overall it was a decent meal. I would consider coming back in the future. 4/5 stars.""

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the servers did a fabulous job moving other tables inside quickly when rain hit out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a large tree and didn't have to move and the rain ended quickly. Our teenage children haven't been to many nice restaurants and they loved the creative appetizers, especially the homemade croutons on the ceasar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert which is unfortunate because I have had the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"This is a small space, right across from PABT, where it's mostly take out orders. There are a few high chairs to eat in. You can order ahead or walk in and order at a station or at the counter.The people are pleasant when placing my order. I got the Pork Souvlaki Platter. And then, as I was waiting for the platter, I saw they had Greek Soda Espa and Sour Cherry. :)The food was packaged in an aluminum lined cardboard box for the rice, pork, and pita. The salad was in a separate aluminum container and 2 little containers for the salad dressing and Tzatziki sauce. The box survived until I got all the way home in NJ, smelling amazing! LoLIt was still warm despite the fact I was next to the window with the AC on full blast. The pork was a little tough, but nothing I didn't expect as grilled pork usually doesn't get as tender as I would like, but it's still very tasty, though. Rice was flavorful.This is a good find for me near the bus terminal!"

"Service was AWFUL! I chose to spend my birthday brunch with my family at your restaurant. The waiter only came to check on our table once throughout the whole meal. He forgot my granddaughters chocolate milk and our mimosas twice with everything coming to the table at once. We love dessert here and thought we were looking forward to sharing some for my birthday. We waited minutes for him to return but where was waldo? Not sure we flagged someone else down to clear the table and ask for the check because we were so frustrated we decided to skip dessert. My husband gave him which was far more generous than I would have given him for inept service!"

"This restaurant was just ok. My husband and I made reservations through this app, but didn’t need to. There were really only people at the bar (it was a Thursday night . So no one was at the stand and the poor bartender was taking care of everyone in the place (she did a great job! . We started with the beef carpaccio, which had so much vinaigrette on it that you couldn’t taste the beef. My husband said his smash burger was good, but the steak in my steak frites wasn’t great. It was very very chewy. The desserts were excellent, but they only had 2 available. Overall, we found it overpriced and wouldn’t eat there again."

"This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I ordered the gyro platter, which came without any veggies, soup, and fries. I immediately reached out to express my concern since it was a carryout order. The meat was so dry that it was difficult to eat, and the sweet tea lemonade was unpleasant. The fries were flimsy and excessively greasy. Although they did provide a complimentary order of french fries that were slightly better, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. I asked for extra sauce for the gyro meat, and they wanted to charge me for it. When a customer is dissatisfied, it's important to accommodate them as part of good customer service. The sauce only costs 50 cents, so offering two would have shown good faith and could have helped to improve my experience. Simple gestures like that can go a long way in satisfying customers. "Having had a flavorful experience at Plaka Grill in the small, funky space in Vienna, I was motivated to try out Plaka in Falls Church when I was in FC on business one afternoon last week. The shotgun interior of the Falls Church location is much larger and borderline sterile in comparison. My appetizer, lentil soup, had a broth with the character of warm water. The ingredients were equally disappointing. I was hoping for a warm, aromatic lentil soup with depth of flavor on the chilly, rainy afternoon, but that was not the case. The pita served with it was ersatz; no pocket means it's not pita. While it had the shape and appearance of pita, it was just doughy flatbread. I intended to order their Chicago-style gyro after the soup, but the soup's lack of flavor caused me to abandon that idea and leave."

"I love this place. It's cozy, has a kooky layout, is homely and the food is original and fun. It's kind of like a high end bistro but not. The service is really good, the drinks are really good, the food is really good, it's just good. I also think this was the first time I liked fried pickles. Usually they're too oily but no here. I had the lamb shank and it was tender, savory and soooo good when it hit the lips. Right now you can't eat outside but once spring comes, this is where you'll find me."
