"There was only one person managing takeout orders along with two to four dining groups, which led to a bit of a wait. However, she was friendly and efficient. We ordered quite a bit: fish sauce chicken wings, combination pho, BBQ pork plate, and lemongrass chicken with spring roll vermicelli.
In my opinion, the pho was decent. The broth is light and delicate, but when mixed with the noodles and toppings, it became somewhat bland. I also don't think they serve tripe, but maybe I'm the only one who misses it! The medium portion was generous, offering plenty of meat and noodles, but it could definitely use a bit more broth. I’d rate it 6.5/10.
My girlfriend ordered the BBQ pork plate, which was pretty good! It really hit the spot. The flavors were great, though I found it a tad dry; she enjoyed it and hardly noticed. It came with some vegetables, fish sauce, and broth for the rice.
The lemongrass chicken and spring roll vermicelli was delicious! The nuoc mam fish sauce was flavorful, and the chicken, while a bit sweeter than I prefer, was incredibly tender and tasty. The spring rolls were flaky with a delicious filling, and the portion was definitely worth the price. I’d give it an 8/10.
Lastly, the fish sauce wings were outstanding. The breading was light and crunchy, and the sauce provided a perfect balance of savory and sweet on the juicy, tender wings. I’d rate those 10/10—I’m still savoring the taste!
We ordered three entrees and a fairly large appetizer, which came out to about $65 before tip. We were stuffed after dinner and managed to save enough leftovers for two lunches. If you go, bring cash if you can, as there's a card fee, but I can assure you that I’ll be returning!"
