"the younger waiting staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the older man we have assumed was the owner/manager unfriendly and actually quite rude. he totally ignored us, as we stood in front of him waiting in the cash box to check. he continued writing on his phone and refused to serve us. the younger man who was our server approached and we explained right before the older man that we stood here and waited to pay the bill. he looked a little embarrassing and the old guy still did not apologize and did not give any recognition to our annoyance. my daughter was teary eyes when we went home as she is an excellent high school French student who was respectful of the French speaking by giving most of the communication with this guy. he wasn't gracious, terrible customer service, so I would never support his business again. I'm sorry to eat there. eating is just like that."

"this almost food restaurant was opened a few months ago. it doesn't look like a real restaurant, but if you feel like an ice before or after a show in the Essaïon Avignon Theatre, that's the perfect place to go! all your ice creams and sherbets are made by a local specialist. excellent quality ice creams, very tasty. they are not saturated in fat, with the exception of some aromes (e.g. white chocolate). cone or paper cups. my favorites: coffee, strawberry and grapefruit. I didn't try the rest of her eating, but the people are very friendly."

"I was looking for a place to eat for late dinner during rainy evening at Avignon. I came across this place as a last minute decision as it was getting late. I have to say that this place is a gem. They make the burger out of fresh meat that they grind on site. The bun is so fresh and soft almost like brioche. It was cooked perfectly as ordered. I ordered the Hollywood megalo with the fries which was tasty and came with different choice of homemade sauces, I picked the tartar. Everyone was so helpful and friendly (since I do not speak much of french), especially the chef was very welcoming which he came to the front to ask if the burger was alright and it was a perfection of course. You can order the wine by glass or bottle and they also have beer and soft drinks as well as coffee. I would recommend this place and will return for another bite of delicious burger. This is the burger you want to have when you are in Avignon!!!"

"I am absolutely astounded that this restaurant is currently ranked number 90 of Avignon restaurants !! We were visiting the delightful city of Avignon and called in at the restaurant quite late for lunch service the location is slightly off the main tourist area...but it is well worth the detour.The Cesar Salad was absolutely excellent and the general ambiance and service was excellent.it is very rare that we eat at the same restaurant when visiting a new city,however we made an exception in this case and booked for lunch the next day again absolutely superb and could not be faulted. As we were leaving we were chatting to our waitress and noticed the number of reservations for later that evening which were considerable. The prices are very reasonable the cafe gourmand was delightful and the service impeccable. Recommended."

"Mention for sushi and for green decoration on the ceiling. Now I also like going to remove the baskets and we are happy with her. Today we chose to take a POKE each: One, Veggie and the other with salmon. We were both happy. A beautiful presentation and a well-filled bowl with beautiful colors. That was really good. "17€ the old tomato dish, pistachio with burrata: a huge plate of red tomatoes not all ripe and perhaps not all of the vegetable garden seen the random taste, burrata ok, seasoning of olive oil very little scented. For the price one would like to be warned that it's mainly a burrata tasting because it's served as a main dish, one would prefer real old varieties (beef, Crimean black or Andean horn....I'm sure there's something to do in the market. Less tomatoes but of quality for 3€ less and everyone would find it there. The glass of rose at 6€ the least filled I've seen in my life while I live in Paris: more expensive and less generous prices, while Avignon what are we saying? Fortunately caught by the very nice service, the reception and the place of choice Rue des tincuriers but for the kitchen really we will iron (not while we are still there for that."

"I haven't come back in a while. But I'm glad I did. Indeed, the welcome is very nice. the young woman placed us inside, at our request. because the room is air-conditioned. I then discover the new decoration. the place is clean, the barrier gestures are respected and a bottle of hydro-alcoholic gel is on each table. we offer a coffee day dish at 10 euros and a very varied choice on the map. The pizza was very good. the dish of the day was sweet potato ravioli accompanied by duck and grilled speck. It was very tasty. a little fresh rose, in glass, was very appreciable. I had a very pleasant time."

"I went with my wife and two daughters there, and honestly it was a bad experience. we tried to order fish and chips, but the waiter came back and said they ran out of fishing. we tried not to order a fleischburger and a fischburger after the waiter “proposed” to us meat and we soon discovered that there is no fischburger left. we went for two meatburgers, one without a cheese (my wife hates cheese) and we got a meatburger and a sweetburger for my wife, then replaced by a meatburger with cheese. We had to complain because the water was literally served for the children at the end of the meal. not least the room was really cold. for 100€ for two burgers and two pastas, we have earned more and expected."
