"My family and I traveled from Charlotte NC to Virginia when we stopped in Greensboro to find a place for early dinner. Looking for a bit of Google Map, we came to this place and decided to stop by to try it out. From the moment I came in, I was almost immediately greeted and treated like a regular guest. We ordered two cheese steaks and a double bacon cheeseburger to share with a large side of onion rings. I was quoted 10-15 minutes, and the food was ready before the estimated time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great; a beautiful mix of personal touches and professional advertising. The Lord behind the counter was polite and polite. The food was excellent. I personally had the double Bacon cheeseburger and it was perfect. Great taste and juicy. I would put this burger against each chain (surrounded, five guys). The family said their cheese steaks were also great. The onion rings were tasteful and perfectly roasted. I'm always happy to see a little business. He deserves praise. Whenever I travel through Greensboro, I'm back."

"I really enjoyed this place. It’s quaint and intimate. Service is excellent. There was a young lady at the register who took the orders. Her name escapes me. She was so sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. Plus she was wearing a really pretty shade of nail polish. I ordered a cheeseburger and chips. Yes. I said chips, homemade chips at that. And they were DEELISH! The burger was off the chain. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and meaty. Only problem, very small serving. The place is adorned with lots of paintings of famous musicians and photographs of famous place. Which added to the cafe vibe. It definitely screams leisure dining on the lake. Also, there is also an outdoor dining option as well. I enjoyed this place and would come back. It would have love to see more diversity among patrons and staff. And a few more of those chips on plates too. Overall, recommend this place. Parking: It’s in a plaza so you may not be able to park in front of the place."

"I am so grateful that I was referred to this bakery when I needed a special cake, cupcakes and cookies for the baby shower of my daughter. the way they decorated them over all expectations, even more beautiful, then the pictures I gave them to use as a guide - the decorator is an amazing artist. the aromas of desserts were heavenly above all the strawberry-champagner they recommended for the cake. everything I asked of them was done until the ninth grade. there are not enough words to describe how satisfied I am with this bakery. they have earned a very loyal customer for years."

"I had an amazing dining experience at Agni. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a delightful and inviting atmosphere. "The lady at the front with the bangs is rude and spoiled my view for the entire restaurant. The phone call to place a pick up order sounded like she hates her job saying that the order I was placing sounds similar to an existing order a customer didn’t bother to pick up so she couldn’t take my order after getting passed that I tried to continue with my order she said I don’t understand you I’ll place the order for what I have and hung up on me. I didn’t even want to go pick the order because of how rude she was. After getting there the order was still incorrect which was no surprise and when I said something she rolled her eyes and huffed her breath. This was the second time I’ve been here and both times she was rude. I definitely will not be back. The owners should really reconsidered front of house because I’m sure I’m not the only business lost behind her!"

"Of all the dishes, I like their pho. I recently ordered Thai red curry and this is one of the least flavorful red curry I have had. It was very bland, consistency was thin and felt like the curry was just submerged in oil. I tried mock imitation ginger and it was just ok with lots of onion and no other veggies. "Cherry Pit Cafe has restored my belief in TRUE comfort food. I’ve tried a little of everything and A LOT of what I love. There is nothing that isn’t fantastic on the menu. The chicken pot pie is amazing and the Shepherds Pie is beyond great. Cornbread, mashed potatoes, Mac&Cheese, French fries and every other side is fantastic. I crave the potato, cheese soup once a week and the quiches are so good. We’re trying the Pie Shake for the first time tonight. I’m not a sweets fan but I’m surprising my girlfriend, who will love it. So thankful this Lake Jeanette dweller has found the BEST food in Greensboro!!!! 6 stars!!!!"

"A friend and I had a truly memorable dining experience. The ambiance and staff were outstanding. We were promptly greeted and given the opportunity to select our table. The interior was reminiscent of a tasting room at a winery. Moreover, the interior was warm and inviting. Our wait person was extremely attentive, friendly and readily anticipated our needs. We began our meal with salads that were fresh and delicious. For the main course, we ordered the special ... Shrimp and grits. When the dish arrived, it was immediately apparent that we had chosen a delectable and mouth watering meal. The grits were creamy, well seasoned and the shrimp were expertly prepared. The dish was punctuated with fresh herbs and a unique flavor that was comparable to a low country dish found in South Carolina. My friend was so impressed with the meal that he stated, I would really like to return to Pastabilities and bring my family. Highly recommend Pastabilities to anyone who is interested in a gourmet like dining experience with well crafted food."

"Nice, but not for my taste. Also the menu changes not necessarily what’s on line. Service was friendly and fine Ambiance meh. I guess this is renovated. Seemed relatively monochromatic definitely not any design features that stand out. Starter had the calamari. I’d give 3/5 I prefer my calamari lighter. These were quite chewy. Unsure about the kidney beans. Wasn’t bad, but different not to my taste. Bread the rosemary focaccia was amazing! 5/5. The pesto was good as well and enhanced the bread, but it could stand alone. Entrée had the Chilean sea bass 4/5. Super technical preparation probably had 10 unique preparations to build the plate. Presentation was great. Some worked together, some didn’t. I think this is based on personal taste. I really liked the panko burrata usually not a fan of burrata. The fish was excellent. Other diners plates looked really nice as well. Dessert Millionaire Shortbread 2/5. Shortbread was way too hard. Tasted fine, but couldn’t be cut with side of fork (and didn’t get a knife for dessert service). The caramel was more sweet than flavorful and the chocolate ganache was more like syrup."

"Although the food was wonderful, I’m shocked with my experience. I have never gone to a fine dining restaurant (nor any restaurant) that did not provide some type of gesture for a birthday. Even so, who cares about the free dessert/gesture, my friend went up to the hostess to ask about what are the steps for a celebration for my birthday. The hostess stated she would inform the waiter. I’m surprised the hostess nor the waiter informed my friend to get a dessert. My friend would have easily purchased a dessert for me. Secondly, I called for a waiter and he acted as if he did not hear me and he was fairly close to me. Another table who was further away said the lady at the table was calling for you. Lastly, I’ve never been to a fine dining restaurant that didn’t have Tabasco sauce. When I asked the waiter who ignored me walked by and said that’s hilarious. Now this same waiter can overhear me speaking to another waiter, but can’t hear me calling him when it’s right beside me. I read previous reviews from other patrons that folks here are not friendly to black patrons. I hope it’s not true. For the price you will not find a better breakfast or customer service anywhere in our fifty states. Staff and service is always outstanding. I’m a true breakfast customer and came here first with my brother some years ago, who passed last year but it’s always good memories of he and I coming here. "We had Reservations, arrived early, but, was seated without a hassle. Staff, including Mangement attentive. Took the time to answer questions and allowed a tour of the facility. "Me and my boyfriend went for the first time during Sunday brunch, and I really like how the restaurant looks and feels. However, our server failed to fill up my water glass twice. The first time I had it sitting on the edge of the table and my boyfriend did too, both glasses were less than half full but the server only filled up my boyfriends. The second time, he came by to ask how the food was and I assumed he would come to fill my water this time so I didn’t say anything about it, but he still didn’t. Finally on the third visit when my glass had been empty for maybe 7 minutes, did he see it needed to be refilled. Other than that, the server was good. The food was amazing, I got the glazed chicken and my boyfriend got the salmon. He found there to be too much sauce on the salmon it was kind of drowning in it, however if that’s how the dish is supposed to be served then we just know for next time to ask for light sauce. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit but would have appreciated if the server was a little more attentive"

"Out of 3 years of eating here a few times a month (sometimes a few times a week even, because we live nearby) we have never had a bad experience. That is saying a lot. But let me go on: this is essentially our favorite restaurant. I am very impressed at how the menu has so many things that aren't typical Mexican food, like their tangy island flavor chicken Burrito Pacifico or BBQ pork Tacos Carolina. My wife talks about the quality of their ingredients. When you first walk in, the prices look steep, but then you realize the value matches the price. (If i was on a tighter budget, i would have to eat here less. Heck, I'd have to eat out less altogether) This restaurant is our go-to choice for inviting friends and family out. I know this sounds a bit like an advertisement, but I'm just letting you know how great this place is."

"I ordered the Warm Farro Salmon Salad. My husband ordered the Salmon entree with a honey suckle mustard glaze. Both meals were fantastic! We’ll be sad to see those rotated off the menu. The Pecan Bourbon Tiramisu was delicious but rich and dense unlike the traditional dessert. I was excited to try a different take on tiramisu but had hoped it would still be light and creamy like a traditional preparation. I would definitely recommend it but expect more of an indulgent cake that you’ll need a helper or two with."

"We started with the truffle butter fries as an appetizer. They were tasty, but I wasn’t a fan of the parmesan or the green peppers they added. The fries themselves were delicious, so I’d probably order them again without those toppings. As for the burgers, they were fantastic! I had the smokehouse burger, while my friend tried the bistro burger (the one in the pictures with the toppings). Both were among the best burgers I’ve ever had. The bun was phenomenal, the meat incredibly juicy, and the toppings were either perfectly cooked (like the bacon) or fresh and vibrant (like the tomatoes). Altogether, we ordered two waters, truffle parmesan fries, the smokehouse burger, and the bistro burger. Our total came to $31.24 (not including tip). It was definitely worth it, and I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"I dined at Fleming’s on 12/16 to celebrate my friend’s 24th birthday. David was my waiter, he was polite, attentive, and communicated with our table consistently. When I asked questions about the menu (my first visit he offered explanations and spoke humbly. Things went left when my table was approached by the manager and asked to turn the a mini flash off that we were using to take photos with the birthday girl (whom we were celebrating. The manager approached us about this because the table behind/beside us complained about the flash. This couple was an older white man and woman. My table was full of recent college graduate black women and one man. There were a few things that happened after this that made my experience continue to go down hill. For one, I don’t believe it was appropriate for the manager, Charles to ask us to turn the “MINI” light off. It made us feel singled out and as if we were not as valued as the other set of customers. There were many other groups around whom were not bothered by the slight light. Plus, this is obviously not a policy regarding filming and photographing, especially when it is obvious we were celebrating her. The light was out not even 5 minutes before he approached us due to the complaint made by the couple. After this occurred the couple then smiled and smirked condescendingly. They also made statements such as “they should move somewhere else.” And “they need to go over there with that.” This interaction was highly offensive. One, because the manager did not advocate on our behalf and instead allowed this couple to use him in their racist games. Additionally, it made us feel like devalued consumers. Everyone at the table received a bill of $80 or MORE. My question is, would you prefer a party of 7 get up and walk out of your establishment or the negative party of 2? Ultimately, I just thought this was distasteful. It is 2023, people should be able to enter spaces, not have to fight to be there, and celebrate one another. The blueberry lemon drops were great, but the food was not flavorful however was plated neatly and presented beautifully. Thank you David for your kindness. Manager Charles, I do wish you would have better advocated for us instead of making us feel undervalued in this establishment."
