"I was in Hazleton and decided to try their cold bakery pizza. I stopped at Senape's to see what they had to offer. I love local bakeries. The taste was very different than sanitary Bakery. The sauce is packed with noticable flavors that hit you once you take a bite (in a good way). I took pictures of some of the interesting items that I've never seen before. I'm excited to try the pineapple coconut buns when I get back. They also had a cold french bread style pizza that I didn't try. The people working were extremely nice. I said it was my first time and they let me try a piece of the cold pizza before buying it. I definitely recommend stopping by this place."

"Old school hotdog joint with a small town atmosphere and the best chili sauce you'll ever have. Jimmy is still slinging hotdogs next to the grill and you won't find any others like it. If you're ever passing by and want to experience nirvana this is the place."

"My first time having their pizza was about 2 weeks ago.. I always saw it at the grocery store (sold boxed and cold) but didn't want to try it that way. So as I'm telling the bartender that this was my first time, the owner overhears me and comes out to talk and gives me a little history on the place.. he then tells me to hang around for a minute and goes into the kitchen and gets me another pie, this one on the house for being a newb. Totally awesome of him. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in Hazleton.. everything's original in there and they serve beer! What more could you ask for!"

"My friend and I visited this restaurant tonight as part of the Hazleton shot and beer trail passport. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience. Upon arriving at our table, we were scolded for not wearing masks even though there was no "No mask no entry" sign. Our table was located very close to the door, yet we were still asked to walk back outside to put on a mask before returning. When we handed over our IDs, the bartender refused to accept my passport as a form of identification, even though I do not have a valid driver's license. The bar owner himself was present but refused to accommodate us. We did not appreciate this kind of service and will not be returning, and we advise others not to visit this restaurant."

"The food was divine! I started with a red Sangria that was very flavorful, along with a side salad that was fresh and crisp—the lettuce was beautiful, and there was just the right amount of cheese crumbles. For my main course, I had the Penne alla Brianne, which was absolutely delicious! If you're considering the Penne alla Vodka, I highly recommend trying the Brianne instead, as the addition of chicken and spinach really enhances the dish. Most of us ordered tiramisu for dessert, and I can honestly say it was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. We will definitely be coming back in the future!"

"My ladies golf group has been coming here for about 5 years. This past Wednesday was a bit disappointing. I had called and specifically asked for the separate windowed room for the 10 of us at 4pm. I was told it was fine but since they had another party scheduled for 6pm we would need to be finished quickly. No problem. We got there and were told the 6pm group pushed up their timeframe and we would be seated elsewhere. Why wasn’t that group told they could not push their timeframe up? Why were we automatically relegated elsewhere? It was a nice table next to a window, so ok. But I felt as if we were given the bum’s rush drink orders were taken with dinner orders. Hardly had time to sit and enjoy a drink when dinner came. Some of our water glasses were clearly dirty and some bread/butter plates had food stuck on them. No complaints about food and our server was very good. Overall I don’t classify this as an upscale restaurant .. disappointed this time . Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"We visit this restaurant once a year when we come to see family, and I must say that the service and food are consistently excellent. "My wife and I arrived in Hazleton on Friday night 12/15 for a funeral on Saturday morning. We drove to Damon's after we drove three hours in the snow. We are very happy. The huge soft pulp was a fun and delicious appetizer. My main rib was perfectly cooked and my wife loved the fish and chips. Good beer selection and our server were very friendly and attentive. And many TVs to satisfy my sport. We couldn't have been happier with food, service and prices."

"I got to say that last week September 1st, 2022 I had one of the best pizzas in my whole life but today I changed my mind. I usually like ordering from places few times before giving a review. This time I order the same thing today September 8th and the pizza arrived completely different. I asked for a pepperoni pizza through DoorDash as was excited because a friend wanted to try it so I took a chance on your business. The order arrives with no pepperoni on there and I said in the specification that I like toasty crust well that didn?t happen. I told claim with DoorDash and they wanted to honor the toppings as cash back but what happens with my experience and my friend experience. Cash back doesn?t make any justice specially if O don?t get the option to get it remake. $3.96 is not bad but for not getting what I asked for is devastating. I am super sad, frustrated and disappointed to the point that it touched me deeply because I was planning to order once a week to support this business but this isn?t happening."

"I asked for a plain chicken sandwich I made there job easier bottom.bun chicken top bun and I got a slop of mayo making the sandwich unediable even after I tried wiping it off. Got a soda that was nothing but pure carbonation and fires that were stone cold. The only upside was the manager offered to replace the meals."

"None of the burgers I ordered were made correctly. I received three disappointing burgers without any condiments, not even cheese, when I only wanted to have one or two items removed from standard cheeseburgers. The other items that did arrive as I requested were old and stale. I won't be ordering from here again."

"I’ve been to this buffet many times in my life. But it has been a few years since I’ve been here last. Huge disappointment! One, when we got there after an almost hour drive. They tell us it’s dinner all day. So more expensive when we weren’t there for the dinner menu we were there for lunch. Two, the sushi consisted of almost every roll having imitation crab meat in it. It didn’t used to be this way. There were tuna rolls, salmon rolls, eel rolls, etc. Three, the food for the most part was cold. Then to top it all off for me and my 10 year old daughter it was $48 with a $5 tip included. After I tipped the sushi chef $5 in cash. So $53 for me and my 10 year old for luke warm, sub par food. Sadly from here on out we will pass and go somewhere else. I would like to mention that the staff was very polite during our visit. Just don’t understand what happened to this place. This was a place we wanted to come to. Now I will avoid it. Very sad to see this has happened to this buffet. It was once great. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2"

"We've been coming to this restaurant for 10 years, and it consistently serves the best sushi in the city that meets my needs and expectations. In my experience, everything is excellent, except for the wait service, which is quite slow. That's why I can only give it 4 out of 5 stars. I even tip despite the poor wait service (not the food service itself, which is great; it's just the time it takes) because I've noticed issues with the wait staff since I first started coming here a decade ago. I'm usually here for dinner, so overall, I rate it 4 out of 5."

"I really like this restaurant and generally find the food excellent, but unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience tonight. I went there on July 18, 2022, at around 8:10 PM with my daughter, only to find that the doors were locked. While the drive-thru was still operating, the dining area was closed. I was surprised to see the dining room shut down so early at 8 PM. As a result, I decided to leave and go somewhere else because I didn't want to eat in my car. This is the second time I've experienced this early closing, and it's leaving me feeling less than satisfied as a customer."

"This would be a zero star review if that was possible. Discernibly zero employees that speak anything you could even mistake for the English language. The amount of time between ordering and paying for our order was about 15 minutes and there wasn?t a single person ahead of us. I ordered 3 tenders and was not told that they were out of tenders until the other person I was with had already paid and received their food (now about 15-20 minutes after I ordered). After all this we were told to pull ahead, and then were not served for another 10 minutes at least and after all this my order was incorrect and they didn?t even have the sauces we specifically asked for at the window . I would rather kill myself with a rusty bone saw than order from this place again."
