"Have been wanting to try Delices De Maurice for a while but hadn 't gotten around to it. finally decided to go with my mom (who had been for pastries before), and was surprisingly let down. I really wanted to love it (and thought that I would) but everything I had was pretty flavorless. Also, it was severely overpriced for what we received. The egg croissant with bacon was $13.50 and they were going to charge $3 when I asked for a single slice of swiss cheese to be added (which I did not end up doing). It 's absolutely their right to charge what they want, but I don 't think I 'll go for anything but a pastry in the future.I got the egg croissant, which comes with scrambled egg on a wheat croissant, bacon, maple syrup, seasoned tomatoes, and avocado slices. Maybe it was just an off day, but i took a bite of the egg on the croissant and didn 't taste much of anything. The croissant was super dense and didn 't taste like their was any butter in it. It was also pretty crisp on the top almost burnt really. I don 't think the egg patty even had salt and pepper it may have just been egg, and the avocado was not ripe at all, so we didn 't eat it. The saving grace was the crispy bacon and the maple syrup that I dipped the croissant with egg in so that I tasted something. We also ordered vanilla lattes and had a similar experience. At first, I thought they forgot the vanilla, but then I noticed a very subtle sweetness. I think we each got maybe half a pump for 75 cents.Overall, I hate to leave a pretty negative review, and I really am not usually a picky person. I just expected some flavor for a $55 light breakfast with coffees. My mom does attest for their pastries, so maybe I 'll go back for one of those and see if it is a different experience."

"We noticed that TX is filled with Vietnamese restaurants, and this stands out to us as one of the most flavorful while being very affordable. I would deem this as our new go-to due until something else comes along. I would consider this an all-time high point for Vietnamese food. Vietnamese coffee was very unique, where it was brewed and completed in front of you. Pho was plentiful with the noodles, and broth was delicious. The fried spring rolls were a bit different, it's good, just different in taste. The sticky rice with mango was delicious, but unfortunately, the mango could have been a little bit more ripe. Highly recommended eatery!"

"We decided to give this place a shot after hearing wonderful reviews, and we were not disappointed at all. Everything was fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing. We sampled several rolls, and each one was delicious. The ramen and shrimp tempura were both excellent as well. For our appetizer, we had the mixed dip, and I could have eaten more of it—it was so tasty! Our server was incredibly nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. The owner even introduced himself, and we felt very welcomed by him. I highly recommend this place!"

"My mother and I ate there last night (5 November) and loved it! That was our second time to eat here. Our server was brilliant and attentive, I could remember his name. I have the Freebird cocktail and it was delish. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer and I love how the bread it tasty but still soft. Mom wants a few more dried apricots for a little more sweet, but I think it was perfect. I have the Mediterranean packaging and OMG the meat was melt in your mouth delicious. Mom got the cattle cabbage and she said it was very tender and tasty. The portions are good. We had both remains for another delicious meal."

"We decided to go for the Omakase, which is a set menu with the chef’s choice. It was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. Chef Lim was present, overseeing almost every dish that came out from both the sushi bar and the kitchen. The quality of the food was outstanding, especially the Pea Shoot Scallops, Sashimi Nigiri, and Lamb Chops. As a Bourbon purist, I was pleasantly surprised by her Old Fashioned made with Japanese whiskey; it was one of the best cocktails I've had recently. I would have ordered a second if I hadn’t been driving. I also appreciated the interior design; it was elevated yet not over the top, and there was enough space between tables to avoid feeling cramped, which made it easy for the servers to navigate even when the dining room was full. Lastly, I must highlight the exceptional service. While Chef Lim personally supervised the kitchen, his staff was equally impressive. We were greeted right away and seated promptly. Our server was quick and courteous, and we had not just one, but two managers check in on us during our meal, once while we were eating and again afterward. Overall, it was a top-notch experience—better than Aka, Azuma, and significantly better than Uchi. I truly hope they maintain this quality because I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area."

"I forgot to take pictures of the dishes, but it was a fantastic experience overall. I highly recommend this restaurant! The service was exceptional. We ordered a chicken dish with peanuts, but unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it, especially since we have a peanut allergy. However, when we mentioned it to the server, she was very understanding and replaced the dish immediately. They truly care about their customers, and the food is delicious. It's also quite affordable. The ambiance of the place is pleasant as well. I definitely recommend it!"

"We were not happy with how they decided to change the dress requirements, and how they addressed it We have been going there for years. We went the very first week they reopened May to help get the business and staff back. Several times since then. I have been wearing sandals and nothing said. This time the manager decided to take us to another area with no explanation. He said it was my sandals. After a discussion (told him the above), he agreed to seat us in accordance with our reservation. He also stated it was clear on website I searched website today and could not find the policy. I started another reservation and found a drill down that linked to policy (using that I found it on main website). The policy was unclear on foot wear (States: Appropriate business casual footwear is required). So I went on Google and there are some say yes and some no. This applies to men and women on sandals according to websites I noticed others there with questionable dress (have seen tee-shirts, other sandals, and gang-wear dress), so not sure why I was treated like we were in front of others A more professional approach would have been seat us, and then explain that next time they would prefer no sandals In short, only Taste of Texas for awhile"

"That was my second time to eat here and both times was GREAT! This visit we started with the deviled eggs - this time they were chicken tinga and sour cream and friend green tomatoes. Both appetizers were good! Baked tomatoes usually don't sound good to me, but they come with this great sauce that makes me personal. For my duck, I have the chicken and waffles. When the duck arrived, I was a little confused because there was no syrup, but I quickly discovered that I didn't need one! This chicken and waffles was so good and perfect blend of sweet and hearty. I would definitely recommend this and get it back! For dessert, of course, we have the whisky cake. My last visit, I have the beer-missu (sp. It was good, but the whisky cake was so much better. Morality of history only gets the whisky cake. We were “the people” who came a little later than we should probably have, but we still have a great service in our entire culinary experience! I have no end to saying big things about Whiskey Cake. I can't wait to come back and dinate again!"

"I've eaten at this location several times before. Usually, the experience and food are excellent. However, this particular visit the food was delicious, but service sucked!! They were out of certain fish that was on the regular menu. The spinach and crab dip there is my favorite! However, when I ordered it this time, it had absolutely zero crab in it. When usually it's loaded with crab! The manager removed it from my bill and offered another one, but we politely declined in fear that it too wouldn't have any crab. Again, food tasted delicious even tho we had to substitute out for a different fish than what the menu called for."

"This place is AWESOME!!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the interior is unique and welcoming. My family and I had their brunch back a few weeks and it was ridiculous! I had the chicken fried ribeye and my wife had the short rib omelett while the children enjoyed the waffles. Oh, the 1 cent mimosas $12,99 for the first drink) were also great! Waiter was great, very polite and accommodating. The manager came several times to check on us and also helped to recommend some of the items. Dinner here last Saturday and all our expectations were met! I had originally planned to bring my wife to Tony Mendola's in the Heights, but she really wanted to taste Grazia's dinner as Brunch was so good. After she mentioned this, I have to say that I was quite excited because her brunch was so good. Again everything was wonderful, drinks were solid, waiter was good, manager checked for us, food was amazing! My wife had the fillet and I had the Chicken Marsala, plus I ordered a side of her short-sleeved Mac cheese... FANTASTIAN!!!"

Eggs was good and filling. Had a lot of veggies. Did not want the side then took some fruits. Seasonal crepes were tiny compared to other crepe places. But the price was way too much- Nutella and banana and strawberries cost $9.99. Ridiculous! The egg cost $14.29 !!! Atmosphere is ok. The guy in the grey tshirt maybe the manager works very hard to keep the place clean. Everything was clean and dry. Floor was clean too. Service was ok. With such a price menu you would expect to have your bill given nicely in a clip board at least. They just give the receipt in your hand and lurk around to see if we give any tips !!!Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian options but if you tell the waiter they will leave the meat out.Kid-friendliness: Have a few option for kids.Parking: Ample parking opportunity. On my bill, I noted the $4.79 charge for guac and $0.99 for sour cream. I didn 't realize it was extra, but whatever. I paid for it no problem. When he returned my card and the receipt, I said hey you may want to just warn people in the future that there is an extra charge for sour cream and guac . He proceeded to tell me uhhh you let me know when you find a place that doesn 't charge for them . I said well, there are places that don 't. I 'm not trying to get into this with you, I 'm just letting you know you should maybe say something ahead of time so there 's no confusion . THEN he says I 've never had anyone mention it before. I again said I 'm not trying to argue with you, I was just mentioning it. He AGAIN had a rude retort and then I just didn 't respond. Unacceptable exchange with a customer. I work in customer service. Idk why he felt like that was ok. Will not be back."

"We really enjoyed the tacos at this restaurant. While the birria wasn't my favorite, I believe it's just a matter of personal preference. "If giving zero stars was an option I would have chosen that. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times for years but never have been spoken to with such lack of respect or care from an employee. I was there with my family for 20 mins with no waiter coming near our table despite us trying to call for one multiple times and being told “give me a min” until one waiter gave attitude and responded “we’re busy if you wanna go you can leave that would be great”. This will definitely be the last time I even think of going here, the lack of training employees get has always been obvious but this is a whole other level. I do not need to go to a place with average food careless management and disrespectful workers."
