"Nice place to eat This place is a lunch and dinner Café We stopped in to have lunch here for the first time. Judging from the outside the signage seemed to welcome you over to the building and as you enter this begins the experience. As soon as you enter through the entrance door there is a ramp leading up into the Café. Walk up to the front and get in line and wait for your turn to place your order and pay up front. If this is your first time eating here you can walk up the side steps near the entrance and walk around the main eating area and to the front to take your time and see what meals they have on their menu...or you can just wing it and order on the spot as soon as it 's your turn. When you finally get to the front to order, give the lady your drink order and meal orders. She will give you your drinks and a table marker with a number on it. Find seating that suits your needs and wait patiently for your meals to be prepared and they will be brought to your table by a food runner. Once the food runner drops your food off don 't forget to grab any plastic eating utensils or condiments if needed. And now enjoy your meal Today we tried their turkey bacon panini with sweet potato fries Barbeque pulled pork with Cole slaw on a brioche bun and side of parmesan seasoned fries Turkey club with maple bacon on ciabatta bread The food was DELICIOUS Once you are done with your meals there is one last task to complete... Now it 's time to tidy up, you bring your baskets ,trash,drinks to the compost area and dispose all the trash and leave the food baskets in the container. If you like paninis or pulled pork sandwiches or salads then this is the place for you. Nice atmosphere in a cozy and warm cafe here. "This was a birthday dinner on Christmas Eve (when many other restaurants in town were closed so grateful Nicola's was open , and the staff did everything they could to accommodate our party of six, including allowing us to bring our own cake to serve for dessert (thank you! . I will say, that we loved everything about the OLD Nicola's with one glaring exception the amount of wait time between courses. The new Nicola's has figured out how to change that up completely, and the mood and responses from every person working there was one of wanting to meet the desires of the customer, whatever they were. My husband even ordered something that wasn't even on the menu and they were able to accommodate him. Our waiter, Jennifer, was super competent, speedy and able to anticipate our needs. The chefs in the kitchen were fascinating to watch as they worked together to coordinate the dishes and put out perfectly cooked and presented food. I will also add that the wine list and cocktail options are now expanded and clearly chosen with care and expertise. All in all, a memorable night out. We will be back!"

"My husband and I stayed here for our dinner. A wonderfully warm and cozy atmosphere, it was a little loud, but in a good way. Everyone talked and laughed and enjoyed his meals. We felt very well able to hold a conversation without worrying that we would disturb someone. The staff is amazing!!!! They were all sooo friendly to see that we were happy several times. They made me a delicious chocolate martini. It was also nice to see the owners running around the dining area and talking to guests. Oh, and they have a really cool door grill that they cook our food for perfection. They offer an entity of inexpensive house style meals both traditional and more imagination (my man ordered the duck) Overall a wonderful experience, we will be back!!"

"This diner can be summed up as having bad food and awful service. Our waiter, a sweaty, heavyset bearded man, was scatterbrained and overwhelmed by the average Sunday lunch crowd of only 4 or 5 tables. He forgot to serve one table toast with their meals, and when he finally found the cold and mushy toast under the counter, he served it without offering to make fresh toast. When our food finally arrived, my quarter pounder burger with cheese looked scrawny, accompanied by a side of fries and the oddly included carrot slices that Lindy's adds to every plate. I asked for mustard for my burger, which cost about $4 and was half the size of a McDonald's double cheeseburger. After waiting about five minutes with no response from our waiter, I asked a passing waitress. She seemed annoyed and slammed the mustard down so hard that it tipped over onto my plate. When we later asked for a coffee refill, our waiter acted offended and even scolded us for not saying "Your welcome" when he handed us the check. Despite his incompetence, he gave us too much change due to his miscalculations. In conclusion, if you're looking for decent customer service and food, I would recommend avoiding Lindy's. Instead, try Timoleon's off Main Street in Keene or visit the Peterborough Diner for an authentic diner experience without the rudeness, incompetence, and lackluster food that Lindy's is known for."

"We have visited the Pub for both breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately today we visited for lunch and had a terrible experience. Service was very slow. It appears that both their servers and kitchen are very understaffed. My wife had a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was very tough and was even difficult to cut with a knife. The order was supposed to include a roll that never arrived. I ordered a burrito salad which was served without salsa nor sour cream. When I requested these condiments I was given a very small plastic container of each. We live in Keene and won't be visiting again."

"Stopped by for a nice dinner with the family. We came on a Friday night and yes it was packed and the staff busy helping all the customers and serving their tables doing good work . Upon entering we were immediately greeted with a friendly welcome and asked what type of seating we would prefer we like to choose booth if possible had a small wait for our table due to a busy Friday night , not an issue It was soon our turn to be seated as we made our way to our table for the night, we were met with a nice freshly cleaned table and menus ready. We had an appetizer before our meal. The appetizer came out quick and fresh. Our orders soon following behind and enjoyed our well cooked meals. I would like to recommend the 8oz sirloin steak with parmesan shrimp. Definitely stop by Apple bees if your looking for a nice steak dinner and a laid back environment. "I visited Keene in June 2021 and ordered the same taco salad as I did in April. I informed the server that I was vegan, so I requested no cheese or sour cream and asked for additional toppings that were available on another dish. The server assured me that they would mark my order as vegan and make something special for me. However, what I received was a disappointing taco dish with a small amount of corn and chopped tomato on a bed of lettuce. When I inquired about the missing veggies, the waitress brought me only green peppers and onions that were at room temperature. This experience was very disappointing, and I will not be returning. My review from April 2021: In Keene, this Mexican restaurant offers some decent options due to limited choices in the area. I tried the vegan taco salad, which was made without sour cream and cheese. They have a variety of vegetarian options that can be customized to be vegan. While it wasn't amazing, it was still good."

"I am aware that my review will not matter. I also rarely leave reviews and I don't remember leaving negative ones! Having said that, I specifically picked this Dunkin because I was doing a larger online order. In the past they have been so quick and polite. I got there and they didn't even have my order started since they figured I didn't mean to order as much as I did. Well, I did and I ordered online so I wouldn't hold people up and gave 20 minutes to be sure I wouldn't. But that's not my issue, my issue is the woman tried blaming me for the problem. At first I said I understood the concern and was polite, respectful, and not at all rude, but I still wanted the order done asap. As it started getting busy, the crew got flustered understandably, but I should not have been accused of doing the wrong thing and not giving them ample time. I gave at least 20 minutes don't make your customers take the blame for something you decided. Take ownership for your choice to not make my order early enough and causing a backup."

"After 10 PM, the lines are long and the waiting times can be quite frustrating. Customers tend to be impatient, and the staff can feel overwhelmed. I found myself feeling a bit exasperated too. However, I had the chance to speak with Chen when I called about an issue I experienced. He not only resolved the problem quickly and fairly, but he also went above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional. As a regular customer at Wendy’s, I can honestly say that after this interaction with Chen (I hope I got the spelling right), I will only come to this particular Wendy’s from now on. Knowing that Chen is here makes all the difference; he expertly balances what’s best for the customer with what’s best for the company, showcasing skills usually seen only in someone with years of management experience. Wendys, you should definitely consider getting Chen into your office to share his insights. If you support him, he could become a valuable asset for your company—don’t let him fall into the hands of the competition!"

"I had previously enjoyed this sushi restaurant, but my recent visit a few days ago was quite disappointing. The waitress was excessively loud, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Additionally, the sushi rice was overly mushy. When we brought this to their attention, the chef and the waitress began to loudly discuss it, raising their voices in the process. They did remake the sushi, and it turned out well, but the overall atmosphere remained quite noisy, despite there being only a few customers present."

"This place is adorable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The cupcakes came in various sizes; I received one that was mostly frosting with just a small cupcake underneath. It was tasty enough. However, I wish they had different containers for multiple cupcakes. It was disappointing to get a large piece of plastic that can’t be recycled locally. At least the plastic was thin, I suppose... I would recommend considering alternative packaging, like compostable containers. Enjoy your treats, everyone!"

"I first discovered your cranberry and pecan bread at Hannaford's in Bedford. After trying the first loaf, I was hooked. The taste was amazing, especially when toasted. "Okay, so there's a minimum for the delivery. WORTH IT. Order with your friends and neighbors or something. The food is amazing and healthy and fresh and the presentation is thoughtful and smart (e.g. the salad is all cut BITE size and the sandwich is packed in paper so it does not fall apart in the box on the way up). They are friendly and polite and well maintained. The secret ingredient is LOVE. Best comfort EVER."

"It seemed like everyone was waiting a long time for their orders. I was in the truck and thought we'd only wait 15 to 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting for our complete order, which included a dozen cookies, a bucket of chicken, a KFC bowl, and a steak burrito. There was a girl who had also been waiting a long time for just two tacos, which made me think there might be some internal management issues. Overall, I enjoyed the food—it was all delicious! I did wonder if my extra side was forgotten, but I’m not sure if my partner ordered it for me since he didn’t bring back the receipt. The highlight of the meal for me was definitely the steak burrito; that’s all he ate, so at least he really enjoyed it! I hope everyone reads this; the mixed reviews could go either way! There seemed to be some arguing about the tacos, which might have set a negative tone for my partner, but despite that, my experience with the food was good!"

"I have been to Country Life restaurants in many locales, and love them. Though they are run by a church, there is no proselytizing, and the food is always natural and good. This branch is small, with nice seating. Unfortunately, since Covid, they have stopped having their buffets—a highlight of the other branches of Country Life that I have visited (this branch does have a—rather meager—salad bar, however). I got a vegan burger to go; it was quite good—though not as good as their buffets of yore—and healthy. Note: the food of the restaurant is all natural and vegan. "It wasn’t until 2:50 PM that a man finally emerged, giving me an unblinking glare. He handed me my drink and a bag of now-cold food without saying a word. I attempted to thank him, but he simply turned away and walked off. I wished him a good day, but he didn’t even acknowledge me. The level of unprofessionalism I encountered was absolutely appalling. I was patient throughout the whole experience, yet was treated with hostility for simply asking about my to-go order. I will definitely avoid this place the next time I’m in Keene. Update: The soda I received is flat and watery."

"My twin daughters’ birthday was within days of our relocation to Keene. My husband (who arrived here a couple of months before my daughters and I), contacted Kristin’s to order two cakes for the girls’ special day. The owner was very accommodating, and even arranged a special time for us to pick up the cakes, as their birthday was on a Sunday. The cakes were delicious, and beautifully decorated. It made their day, and made this mom’s day to be able about to have a nice little celebration for them after moving to a new state. Thank you so much! We truly appreciate it."
