"Stumbled upon this unassuming restaurant last week. Have eaten there twice since. Great food, friendly service nostalgic environment.What seems like just a little ranch house with white siding is a cover for the blast back in time once you enter the front door. Impressive, massive, beautiful antique bar greets you. Vintage antique kitschy decor scattered on the walls and bar kept me entertained just looking at every nook and cranny. The dining room with bentwood chairs with red white checkered tablecloths remind me of the original Buddy ‘s Pizza in Detroit.Now on to the food- The awesome burger truly is awesome. Cooked perfectly and full of toppings. We were fortunate enough to get the last order of crab cakes they did not disappoint! HUGE chunks of crab absolutely delicious. Rueben sandwich had shaved corned beef vs giant thick slices which I loved. Homemade Clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the love it’s made with I bet it’s a 100 year old recipe it’s that good. Can’t wait to go back and try the French onion soup everyone raves about."

"drive through the opposite so hungry, I checked happy cow and found urban vegan was close! on the way there I knew that after the online viewing of the menu I was looking for the chicken sandwich or the chicken biscuit, both sounded delicious I could not decide. when I asked the staff there, they said that the sandwich was a customer favorit, so went for it and it was delicious, I decided for the Yaum sauce, because I could not resist the name and it was good, but I bet the spicy remoulade would have been great, I think I would have preferred a bit more of a kick. pays the additional $2.00 to update from the side salat to the sweet potato friries and they were perfect! my partner got the black-eyed Erbsenburger and wanted it without a cheese, but it came with a cheese anyway, so he scratched it, he upgraded to the side of the plantains and said both were good. I'm not a fan of mushy' patty, so I didn't try it myself (or the plantains would recommend for a fast food fix."

"I've eaten several times here and it's great for breakfast. I don't go here as many times as I want because they're so busy, but they turned tables really fast at this visit. The food was fresh and perfect. I told my wife when we left, I wish I could meet the manager because that was a well-run establishment and I felt great value for money, which is rare. One of the few well-stocked restaurants I've visited lately. Kudos to everyone. We usually eat at Bob Evans, but Big Apple Cafe shamed her for breakfast."

In the last three weeks, I have frequent Fornos on an average of two/three times a week, and every time I sat at the bar, to order my meal... these bartenders have tried to bully me into leaving a certain tip percentage of the bill...one bartender thought I did not leave a tip...and he said directly to me ... he will not serve me , and I was like what is going on?? , Just because, HE THOUGHT I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP , ... I already left a tip, and I had to get the other bartender to confirm that.. it is NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THEIR SALARY AND I REFUSE TO AND I WON 'T, PERIOD!! LET 'S BE CLEAR, I LEAVE GREAT TIPS, 20% OR MORE ...I AM A VERY GENEROUS TIPPER, AND I TAKE PRIDE IN THAT!! HOWEVER, I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO TIPPING FOR SERVICE AT THE BAR..CRAZY!! GOING FORWARD, I WILL PAY A $5.00 DOLLAR TIP NO MATTER MY BILL.. TIPPING IS AN OPTION!! I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY THE BARTENDERS SALARY!! PLEASE BE AWARE!! I AM SO OFFENDED!! "On Wednesday 12/06 I went to Banzai Sushi, I have never received such bad service in my life… Every time I remember my experience, I get angry, the waitress is rude and has a horrible attitude! It's a shame because the food there is wonderful, but the service is so SO BAD that I lost my appetite. When I got there, there was some water spilled on the table, she took my stepfather's DIRTY NAPKIN to clean it and just left it there. When I asked for things she responded with an ignorant, rude tone. My partner doesn't eat any type of animal protein other than shrimp. So we asked if we could replace the salmon with shrimp in a poke, she checked in the kitchen and said everything was fine. When she came back, I placed my order and she was doing something at the other table, but said to continue because she was listening….my partner also talking about swapping salmon for shrimp at the end and the waitress replies “so it's not like that at all what you want, is something different” and simply left leaving us talking to the wall. When our order arrived, my order came out wrong. I called her and she simply replied “BUT ALSO, WITH HER MAKING ALL THIS MESS WITH SALMON AND SHRIMP…”, sorry, but for me that was the end of the bite. It's okay to get the order wrong, I know it happens, but blaming the customer? Every time she passed by our table I saw her making faces and looking at the kitchen. I thought it was a huge lack of respect, we are paying customers. On top of that, it also includes a 15% tip. Normally, if I receive good service, I will give 20%, after all, I work in customer service and value professionals in my field. And if the service was just bad, I wouldn't bother coming here to report it... But it was horrible"

"Delicious, affordable, so much flavor and excellent portions. After eating at Lucky Bamboo, this place rocks for Chinese food in Newark. No chicken and carrots in the delicious egg drop soup. Plenty of meat in the portions. Not a fan of the convenience fee for online ordering, but that is my only complaint. You can even get an extra side of sauce for only $1 and the plain fried rice does not cost extra. I love Chinese food and was very worried after having Lucky Bamboo that there weren't any great places in Newark. Not the case."

"While staying at the Embassy Suits up the road I looking for a convenience store to pick up some contact solution. I figured I'd find something in walking distance so off I went! Well, I didn't luck out with that but I stumbled upon this awesome deli. I ordered a simple sandwich for dinner and it was perfect; exactly what I was looking for. The neatest part was that the staff thanked me by name as I left. Sure, they asked for it when I placed the order, but I was so enamored that they provided such sincere customer service. 10/10, so glad I stumbled on this shop on foot because I probably would have missed if I were driving."

"Food was very good! Ordered brunch... French toast and a bacon and sausage omelette. My wife ordered fried chicken, but they were out of that, so she got the chicken tenders and fries, which was very good. Also, our meals were done in a very timely manner, and were hot as you would expect.So, Central Restaurant gets 4 thumbs ups from my wife Tina and myself! ????"

"I had the mild wings and chili, without onions or sour cream, and they were excellent. The atmosphere is definitely that of a lively pub, with music playing loudly. Upon entering, you can choose any seat. This was my first visit, and I did find myself needing to catch the attention of the waitstaff, as there were only two servers on duty. Surprisingly, we had a great time despite that. The parking was convenient, just a three-minute walk away. While the neighborhood might seem a bit rough, the vibe inside the pub was really cool, and everyone was in high spirits!"

"The service was disappointing, as the waiter was quite inattentive. I didn't receive any follow-up on my drinks, and I was served the wrong bourbon. I ordered burnt ends, but the portion was very small for $22, and most of the pieces were mostly fat. The restaurant has potential, but it really needs to improve both its service and portion sizes."

Non ramen dishes may be tastier and boba is also available for purchase Was suggested this place by a gf who: wanted ramen an area for her daughters to run around nearby her home no line easy parking this place checks off all those boxes haha Yugo Ramen and Miso Ramen it was ok and did the job Yakisoba and Katsu Curry yakisoba is similarly to chow mein but was tastier than ramen, the Katsu Curry also looked good Can't compare it to like Ramen Nagi or Marufuku but it did the job and won't oppose to coming back"

"My husband and I thought this Portuguese Restaurante absolutely charming and fabulous! great food! It is a sophisticated establishment, but still with plentyful of country atmosphere, that makes you feel like you went on vacation... The menu most certainly will bring you to Portugal... and you will be very satisfied! Their menu is huge, but also have daily specials. The food is delicious!!! They will serve you fresh bread , butter, olive oil, and Olives as soon as you are seated. We ordered breaded, fried Sardines which were crispy , crunchy on the out side and nicely soft on the inside ... just perfect. Then we had Braised Beef Short Ribs with Potatoes and Broccoli Rabe, in a sauce with great spices and savory flavours. also cooked to perfection Temting Dessert Menu as well ... I had Creme Brule' and my husband got a Flan...both yummy. Very nice Wine List... I had a wonderful red wine from Portugal! The service is very professional, but still so sweet and kind. The place is big! I love the terracotta/ stone floors, dark wooded ceiling beams, staircase and details of decorative tiles on the walls, very stylish and authentic. They have an outdoor seating, a bar area and the dining room. also private event room up the staircase This is a hidden gem in a industrial/ working class neighbourhood... So glad we found this place, we will definitely come back!"

"The atmosphere at this restaurant was fantastic. The waitress was genuinely friendly and refilled my water glass without me having to ask. The only problem was that the hamburger was undercooked in some spots. Despite that, the hamburger was tasty overall, but the garlic fries were the highlight of the meal. Just a tip, I have a rule when it comes to burgers - if they ask you how you want it cooked, it probably won't be good. Ground meat should always be cooked all the way through to retain the juices and flavor."

"After arriving at Newark Airport around lunchtime, we decided to visit the nearby historic Ironbound District for some Portuguese food. Based on the reviews, we decided to try Sabor Unido and we 're really glad we did. The food, service and the warm, friendly, family vibe were all fantastic. We enjoyed grilled sea bass and squid, both of which were excellent and perfectly prepared as were our sides of mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and fried yucca! Our server, Letitia, was lovely and professional, and we had the chance to chat for a few minutes with the owners, who treated us like regulars. Just an all around great experience! We will definitely be back the next time we 're in town. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant ASAP!!!"

"I had never tried rodizio before in my life, but I have to say it was the best experience! From the waitresses to the food, everything was excellent. I disagree with the comments about the rodizio not coming around enough; I felt like they were constantly bringing meat to our table. The meat was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating, but I had to make room for more! The drinks and dessert were also amazing, especially the tiramisu cake. I will definitely be back!"

"I am absolutely blown away by the incredible pizza at this restaurant. It is hands down the best pizza I have ever tasted. My family and I love trying pizza from different places when we travel, and this place definitely takes the cake. The sauce is amazing and you can see them cutting fresh tomatoes right in front of you. The ingredients are all fresh and they have a wide variety to choose from. The prices are very reasonable for the size of the pizzas. The service was also exceptional, with incredibly friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. "The food at Fernandes Stake House was pretty delicious. We did the churrascaria rodizio meal which includes unlimited meats. All the meats were very delicious and well made, as well with the drinks. When it comes to the price of the rodizio it cost about$50-$60 per person. The menu did offer a 2 for 1 unlimited rodizio for $55, but the server stated that because of ?the volume?of customers they get on the weekends they do not offer that sale Friday-Sunday. The only negative feedback that we had wasthat they only gave us one plate of rice, beans, and fries to eat with the meats. Other steakhouse offer buffet style sides,where you can get up and get whatever sides you want. Also their creme brûlée wasn?t the best. Would t recommend it. Otherthen that everything else was good ???????? and I would recommend this restaurant!"
