"Maybe plan on having some nibbles before you come to dinner. Bread/rolls are not served, or even available at a cost. There are no side salads. Entree portions are small, tho flavorful. My meal came with 2 carrot spears and 2 squash spears. Desserts are good but don't ask to substitute an ice cream flavor for your blueberry pie...our server said the computer doesn't handle substitutes.??? The location is beautiful. The drinks are large. Our server did not rush us thru our meal."

"Very rude wait staff. I actually called a couple days ahead and was told they could take a large party but no reservations and first come first serve and they opened at Noon so we drove 2 hrs to get there and when we got there we got turned away because of a large party and they couldn’t figure out how to split up the bill. Highly disappointed and recommend people to not go there. So many other places in Rangley to choose from that want the business. Saddleback Mountain Pub treated us awesome, had great food and had no issues with the size of our party and how we paid. After saying on the phone they would do couples checks, and changing their mind when we tried to confirm with the waitress , we were told only one check for the party and split the entire bill equally if we gave cards. When we asked to just be split by tabletops a 3,a4and two six tops, at first she said ok but the food would not come out together which we said was no issue at all . Then she returned again and said one check, or our option was just to leave?? What business turns away 19 meals so they don't process 10 cards? If we had not called days before ahead it would have been one thing. All that business will also not return or refer. Train your help with the correct answers on the phone or back them up management."

"My wife and I stayed here for the first time 9/29 10/1 to celebrate our anniversary. We loved it! The woman at the front desk Friday Saturday night was so nice. The historic building was very cool and we enjoyed our renovated room. The location was perfect for walking downtown to see the lake and get drinks/dinner. We also had dinner at the Tavern delicious! Great hikes in the area and we loved driving around on all the scenic roads. Hoping to come back this winter to ski at Saddleback! Thank you! Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet"

"I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for dinner, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delightful, earning a perfect score of 5. The flavors were bold, and every dish was crafted to perfection. The service was equally impressive, also deserving a 5. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening. As for the atmosphere, it was charming and inviting, creating the perfect setting for our meal. I would rate it a solid 5 as well. With a price range of $20–30 per person, this restaurant offers great value for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it!"

"Disapointing expirience. I went with a large group spread amongst 3 tables. Waiter was less than pleasant right from the drink order. We asked if we could tell him which parties were together and he said we 'll figure it out later . Then at the end of the meal it was a cluster trying to figure out which meals went on the same bill, not organizing us first also meant that the order was large and took an hour for the appatisers and another half hour before our food came. The waiter also did not check in during the first hour. After this long wait the kitchen forgot of our burger, and by that point it was not worth reordering it again. The food was very good, but the expirience was not."

"Our whole family really enjoyed dining at Forks in the Air during our vacation in Maine. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The calamari was flavorful and crispy, and the sea scallops were so tender and sweet that we were tempted to order another dish. The strawberry salad and Caesar salad tasted as if they were made with homemade dressings. We appreciated the wine selection, and Courtney was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose the perfect wine! We could only share two desserts, but they were fantastic. The tiramisu is definitely worth trying on its own – don’t even think about sharing! Make sure to call ahead; they returned our call the same day to confirm our reservation. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the city, so you can easily go for a stroll after dining at the city docks."

"After our snowmobiling adventure, we decided to grab lunch. We ordered a burger, a pizza, and two waters. After an hour, we finally received the burger, but the pizza was missing because the person at the register never placed the order. This was my third visit, and each time has been worse than the last. I’ve learned my lesson—I won’t be coming back for a fourth try. The staff was rude, and the food was just mediocre... definitely not worth the effort!"

"We came in from out of town and super stoked about any craft brewing company especially when seeing this house setting! The Special was meatballs and spaghetti. For me I am always wanting to try out the meatballs. Glad I made that choice! They were excellent and the sauce was freshly homemade. You could totally taste the tomatoes. My husband got the Hunters Classic pizza and the 1450 IPA. We ate outside on the porch to enjoy the sunset across from the owner's property. Totally recommend staff was super sweet and accommodating. If I lived in this area, it would be a favorite."

"My husband and I stopped in for a bite, it was a great day to sit outside and eat so we did! Parking area is plentiful They accept dogs in outside seating and they also provide your fur baby water in a dish! We waited quite a while before being served, it wasn't that busy so not sure what was going on. Food was delicious but the bison burger was dry. I asked for medium well but it came out well done. No worries, I dipped that bad boy in sauce. The fries were spot on and the wings were so scrumptious! They were out of a beer I wanted... kind of sucked but whatever. I don't visit the area often but will come back when I do pass through Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"We stumbled upon this place by accident and had the greatest bbq ever. My husband had the brisket which absolutely melts in your mouth. I had the venison sausage which was incredibly packed with flavor, sort of a slightly sweet bbq with smoke. The most amazing meals we have ever tasted. All this was accompanied with cole slaw and again the most flavorful serving of smoked beans. This is topped off with a delicious griddle cake. Unusual but it definitely pulled together everything. I encourage anyone and everyone to “stumble on this place” purposefully. Amazing! The chef truly understands bbq and meat."

"Located on Route 4/ Main St., at the far end of the Saddleback Inn sits the Hungry Trout. Was able to get a table immediately. Dinner specials were in a large message board in large print making it easy to read from our seats. Menu had a variety of offerings, however two of the specials caught our eye the Lobster, Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo and Prime rib. Appetizer Poutine. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Appetizer arrived timely and was large in portion. Had to take half of it home we were getting full! The Alfredo was perfect cheesy and full of lobster and shrimp! Prime rib done to perfection, huge portions had to bring more then half of this home. Over all amazing! Great delicious food and portions big enough for a King!"

"This is a great lunch and breakfast place. Right in downtown Rangeley next to the Pine Tree Frosty, they make the best sandwiches. The Roastbeef is absolutely amazing. I can't stress enough how much it's worth visiting. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I remember when they were on the street and made this movement even better. So glad they survived Kovid!"

"The OG has been our go-to spot for family and staff lunches all summer long! Their menu offers a little something for everyone, and the online ordering system makes it easy to place multiple orders. The food is consistently fresh and delicious! A few of our favorites include the thin crust pizza, gluten-free chicken tenders, the Excavator sandwich, the Chicken Caesar wrap, and either the turkey or tuna salad on their rye bread (seriously, everything tastes great on that rye bread!). On top of the fantastic food, the staff is extremely friendly. Everyone always has a smile, regardless of how busy they are!"
