"As for the side of sausage, what I received was a slice of pizza topped with sausage and onion—because apparently, the idea of a simple side of sausage is too complicated. Plus, it was cold. The two slices of plain pizza were chillingly cold, like they had just come out of the fridge.
The shrimp scampi entrée looked promising, but instead of the advertised Jumbo Tiger Shrimp, I got 41/50 shrimp, which are far from jumbo size. There were only five shrimp in total, making them quite tiny. The side salad was actually better than the chef salad, featuring lettuce, three slices of roasted red peppers, and dressing. It was a small improvement, but at least it was something.
I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for $6, which is simply that—just the sandwich, with no fries included. In the past, they’ve served it with fries. We also had two soups, which were decent, but overall, that was it.
I can't help but think you’d be better off dining in person, as they might pay more attention to your order rather than messing it up for takeout. When I placed my order, I noticed that the Uber Eats driver arrived as soon as they accepted it. They told him that the food was ready or almost done, but he ended up waiting over 30 minutes for them to "cook" everything. I felt sorry for him and tipped him $20 just for waiting. Apparently, the pizza had been sitting in a box when he arrived, resulting in a long wait and a chilly pizza.
My advice? Don’t eat here unless you plan on dining in. My last three takeout orders have been awful."
