Saw the sign tonight permanently closed??? What I was craving catfish...what happened??

Wings and beer are always a winning combination! The wings are perfectly cooked and have just the right amount of sauce.

It used to be an amazing restaurant, but after more than 20 years, it's unfortunately closing down. It's sad to see it go. I never dined there myself, but my wife and daughter really enjoyed it. If they loved it, then it must have been a fantastic place to eat. Ver carta

I suck at taking pictures... the food gets to my mouth before the camera gets to my fingers. I digress, this is a place that I pass by everyday but never tried until recently. I have been kicking myself in the rear ever since. First, the wings are now my favorite in town. Get the blue cheese dressing. You will not be disappointed as it is thick and chunky, just like how I prefer my ladies! Sorry children. The nacho fries looked disappointing until I shoved them my mouth. Sometimes less is more and it proves true with the dish. FYI, top it with their homemade ranch, it is beyond delicious!!!!

Sadly, 3rd Base b closed : Previously: Wow, place looked like a sh_______ from the outside, off Highway 72 Huntsville. I insisted on checking it out : So glad we did. Straightforward no frills dining with awesome stuffed jalapeños and impressive stuffed wraps all pig and chicken sadly . Portions are way on the upside. Just get the stuffed jalapeños, Hit the Spot : Note u will b heavier upon departure. Staff r on it and SOOO Kind : Contrary to Local idiot reco 's : They were not kidding on the heat level of their house hot sauce v happy : Went w the 'Insane ' heat level on their wrap; thankfully was not Thai hott :

On a recent trip to the Huntsville area my wife spotted 3rd Base Grill as we drove by and commented that it looked legit. After reading some reviews we decided it was worth a shot and stopped on the way back. I'm really glad we did. It's been surprisingly difficult to find great wings in the South but this place really gets it. I got the xxHot and it was absolutely delicious. It had the right amount of sauce, the wings were a good size, they were not under done or over done, and it came with a good amount of blue cheese on the side. The menu was the kind where everything looks good but honestly I will probably never try any of it because the wings are that good. Oh and the employees were fri... Ver carta
