West - Carta

Visited San Diego and it was a great time. Super weather while we were there made the trip excellent. The hotel is fantastic, zero complaints. Clean, nice, quiet, nice staff, very nice rooms. We will be back again on our next trip!

I had a great time at this hotel. The front desk clerk who helped me, Livvy, was super friendly and helpful. She upgraded my room without me having to ask. She also let me do a late checkout. My room was great too. It had a partial bay view and was very clean and comfy.

Front desk staff was welcoming and liked the service with westin however didn't like the stinking smell near lobby and restaurants inside the hotel. This place was a good test to my immunity as i immediately felt sick once i woke up for all three days in the hotel. Sorry team but westin has to work on their cleanliness and probably clean the carpets often. Ver carta

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, and they charged me for fees I didn’t incur. I was overcharged and they refused to connect me to the accounting department to dispute the charges. The staff were argumentative, and to make matters worse, my shower had hair in it when I got there. I’m bald, so that was especially frustrating. Shaking my head!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were thrilled with the spaciousness and view from our room, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable! We felt truly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A big thank you to the front desk team, the concierge, the bartender, the housekeeping staff, and the room service team – everyone was so kind. We will definitely return!

This hotel is so amazing. This is our favorite place to stay when we take the train to San Diego. It is within walking distance from the train station and is such a great hotel for my family to go to. As with any hotel, it's only as great as the staff. Anna, Livvy, and Kiko were so sweet and welcoming at the front desk, especially to my kids. Alicia at the downstairs restaurant was also amazing and helpful with such a great attitude. I think the only reason we stay at The Westin, other than the awesome pool with turf around it and super nice rooms, is the friendly staff. We always come here and will definitely be back! I've stayed at Westin's for years and needed to be in San Diego for a conference so decided to give this one a try. Stayed here for a conference for 5 days in May and overall had a pleasant experience. Check in was fine and I got in early and they were able to provide me with a room. No upgrade but it seemed like a busy week. Bottled water is always appreciated and I was able to get coffee each morning downstairs in the lobby. The location for what I needed was great although depending on what you are in town for it may not be the best one for you. Since my meeting was down at the convention center I appreciated having a bit of distance from all the hotels down there.

It's ok. We stayed for just one night, so I didn't make too much of a fuss about what I didn't like.Honestly, the cleanliness of the room was questionable. Although the bathroom was very clean. I hated that the bathtub had no shower curtains, just like a half glass thing that does nothing to prevent water from getting on the floor when you take a shower. The room furniture looked tired and old and the TV service was not good at all. They had basic cable, but half of the channels were not working and could not get any kids channel for my almost 5 year old. The room service food menu was very limited, especially for lunch and dinner, and it was super expensive for a subpar meal. All in all, It...

We just checked out after a 3-night stay here while my husband had work in the area. We've stayed here before and have always been pleased. The room is spacious, though a bit dated, but the bathroom has been updated. It comes with a mini fridge and a coffee maker, though I wish it had a microwave. The bed is incredibly comfortable—it's my favorite since they make their own mattresses. Our room included a daily $10 coupon for breakfast at their coffee shop, as well as another coupon for drinks at the bar. Parking is valet only, costing $56 per day.
