"the 5-8 grill and bar has shady business practices. I went to eat with my fiancée. the burger I ordered had no soaking on it, although the menu said it would. I let the server know about the error. she brought me the sauce. but when I got the bill, I saw that she tried to load me for the sauce that had forgotten the kitchen, to add first place. I could get her to remove that false charge. I also noticed that a service fee had been tied to the bill. it turns out that they better go through the entire menu extremely carefully. on the front in very tiny print reveal that they charge a 3% service fee to help with the retention. not nickel and dime customers. if it costs more to run the business, then increase the prices. Do not surprise customers with hidden fees. even if the owner actually cared for his employees, he could actually try to listen to them. I doubt very much that he entrusted them with this extra arrival, especially as I have heard from the employees that the owner does not listen to the employees. no wonder there are problems with the employee connection. of course, I do not apply with service supplements like 5-8 added, and I will not return. what a shame."

Went to the Champlin location, my first time at a 5-8 Club, a couple of Saturdays ago...the burger was nothing less than phenomenal! Went back again for dinner last Saturday night, tried a different burger, phenomenal again! Service is good, staff is friendly and food is out of this world, my new favorite restaurant! Ver carta

Was Super excited to go here about 8 years ago to try a Juicy Lucy.ABSOLUTE worst burger of my life. First, the burger was definitely not fresh, the cheese was definitely not gooey. It looked like they took out yesterdays last burger, microwaved it, and served it. Dry, old, and straight nasty.What an absolute shame to the 5-8 name.I will not and have not been back since.

We ordered thru Doordash. Got the Reuben sandwich, which was a tad disappointing. The corn beef was tough and seemed like it was old beef. There wasn't a lot of meat in there. The pepper jack juicy Lucy was okay mind you, whatever cheese you ordered, came inside the juicy lucy. We had the chips and salsa, salsa was bland. Seemed like the only good thing we had were the fries, crunchy and flavorful.
