"My family and I have been dining with Akashi for years. They're located in a strip that used to have our favorite Chinese Restaurant which shut down several years ago and we decided to try them out and so glad we did! They are family owned and operated and have incredible food. Our go-to for sushi or hibachi instead of these chain joints (some combination of the word Neo and New with Tokyo or Japan) and it is 10x better. We typically order take-out but their dine-in experience in fine, just be patient with them! Couldn't choose a friendlier group of people to order from."

Delicious Japanese food, Taiwan's authentic super-large beef noodles, the taste and ingredients carefully developed by the boss , delicious hometown taste, easy parking, and good service. recommend

We order food to go from here frequently. They always do a great job of double checking the orders, putting names on the boxes and having it ready on time. They are so nice and the food is delicious. Ver carta

Food was pretty bland. No seasoning...not even salt. The fried chicken cutlet was pretty good, but it definitely needed salt. The Ramen looks a lot better than it tastes. Even the little fish cakes in it had no flavor at all. I don't think I'll be going back.

Underrated as far as I'm concerned. Has been a favorite of mine for 20 years despite changes in ownership. Alex one of the sushi chefs and has been working there for 15+ is highly underrated, and can create great sushi rolls. The firecracker, which isn't on the menu is my favorite roll there.
