I had the brisket tacos, and they were excellent! I also tried a gin drink with lavender, which was delicious and nicely strong. The service was great, and the ambiance was fun. Definitely worth a visit!

Kid-friendliness: There's a playground, and the restaurant is situated away from traffic, providing peace of mind while the kids run and play. Parking: There are dirt roads with plenty of parking available, although there aren't many shaded areas. Ver carta

Great place to grab a drink and some food in the hill country! Drinks are awesome and at a good price. Food is pretty good too. Best part is the ambiance though, super chill and scenic with the beautiful trees and lights. Be sure to catch the live music on Friday nights. Cecilia, our server, was super friendly too! Definitely recommend.

My brother flew in from Canada and this was our first evening together at Alice’s. I was reluctant. I wanted Gummies, but they were closed. So I thought Alice’s was a good option. Well, mind blown. The pickled vegetables, shishito peppers, a sample of ribs, brisket, turkey, potato salad and coleslaw. You guys were wonderful. Cecilia(sic? was wonderful. This will be a memorable moment for my brother and I. Thank you.

This was a nice find. We stopped by because me and my family were in the area for the day. We didn't have drinks and only ordered food. I had the brisket sandwich with chips. The sandwich was good but the chips were... different with a taste I can't place. The mac and cheese was on the dry side for my taste but the queso was amazing. I tasted my husband's potato salad and it tasted like regular cooked potatoes slathered in mayo. It was not to my liking at all. Our waitress Morgan was wonderful and took very good care of us. There is outside seating but it's too hot to sit if you ask me. The inside was nice but very loud. Over all it was a decent place to eat. Ver carta

On a recent afternoon, while visiting the Treaty Oak complex, we decided to give Alice's restaurant a try, very convenient because it's located at Treaty Oak Distillery. Maddie was our waitress, great service, attentive but not intrusive. We ordered a couple of gin and tonics, one with Yaupon one with No. 9, both were very good! We ordered the wedge salad with chicken and the ribs with green beans on the side. Amazing food! The salad was HUGE, generous portion of chicken, served ice-cold, wonderful ranch dressing on the side. The ribs were fall off the bone, expertly smoked, and outstanding flavor, obviously quality meat. The side of green beans was surreal, fried beans, excellent seasoning,...

Next to the restaurant was Treaty Oaks indoor bar that made some fabulous cocktails and a few sample flights of their libations. It's absolutely one of the best bourbons I've had from Texas. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks being served. The best part since we started our visit in the bar and then went next door to the restaurant is that tabs can carry over to each cashier so no need to be opening closing tabs along the tour. Alice's menu has items that are so good that you won't need a to-go container. Each dish sounded so good it was hard to make a decision. I know we will be back to try out many more items and look forward...

During our trip along the Fitzhugh strip, we visited three similar establishments, and this one was by far our favorite. Everything tasted incredibly fresh! I wish the weather had been a bit cooler so we could have enjoyed the outdoor seating. We also noticed a setup for live music, which we assume happens at night, adding to the great atmosphere. The BBQ sauce here was the most unique and flavorful we tried during our visit—an intriguing blend of peppery, sweet, and tangy. The drinks were also great, and the tortilla chips were outstanding.
