Amicis Italian Bistro

This is a fantastic Italian restaurant with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, the service is excellent, and the food is amazing. There are plenty of options to choose from!

I will definitely be coming back! I wasn't very hungry, but I ended up finishing everything because it was so delicious. The mussels with linguini were wonderful. As for the tiramisu, it was good, but it had too much almond flavor and lacked the coffee taste for my liking. I prefer it with just a hint of coffee.

I haven't had the chance to visit in some time, but it's still exceptional! The food is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We love dining at Amicis! We're always satisfied with our meals. The meatball sliders are amazing (and I typically only eat my own meatballs... haha), so you can trust that I'm 100% Italian! The food, service, and sangria are all fantastic! Jennifer and Mario are the best; they really deserve recognition. My personal favorite dish is the shrimp with lemon butter, garlic, and spinach, served with perfectly al dente spaghetti. Bon appétit!

My wife and I dined at Amici on Saturday, April 23rd, and we had a fantastic experience. We started with the homemade sausage and mushroom soup, which was exceptional. For our main courses, we ordered both the Veal Amici and the Kalbsmarsala, topped with melted provolone cheese and served with handmade pasta. To cap off our meal, we enjoyed a cannoli and chocolate cake. Everything was outstanding, and we plan to eat there every time we visit the Charleston area.

This is your classic Italian restaurant, adorned with paintings of Italy and the smooth sounds of old blue-eyed crooners in the background. Fortunately, the food is delightful, starting with freshly baked rolls, which is always a good indication of quality. I followed that up with an excellent Caesar salad and a fantastic chicken piccata. If I had any room left, I would have loved to sample one of the desserts. We reached out to Jennifer about 4-5 months in advance to plan a family dinner for our first grandson’s high school graduation. The process was smooth, and everything was well-organized, which put our minds at ease. The service provided by Abbie and Gina was outstanding; they were attentive and efficient throughout the evening. Everyone was delighted with the delicious food. We are truly grateful to Amicis for making our family dinner a priority and a memorable occasion. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!

This is our favorite Italian restaurant! The owner, Jennifer, makes the most delicious soups. Some of our favorite items on the menu are the Meatball Sliders, Bruschetta, Caprese Salad, Calamari Fritti, Sourcing Pepper Penne, Chicken Ciara, Lasagna, and Nutella Ravioli for dessert. The soups are always excellent too! The staff is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the prices are reasonable. Just a tip: they say they're open until 9:00, but they tend to turn people away after 8:00, so it's best to arrive before then. It's definitely worth a visit!

From the beautiful music (with many Italian lyrics) to the couples from New York and New Jersey at the next table (I love those accents), you can tell you’re in for an authentic Italian dining experience in Charleston. The wine was delightful, the bread was fresh and served hot with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar on every table, and the waitstaff were extremely attentive (no request goes unanswered). If you’re looking for fresh, homemade pasta and soup, along with a lovely atmosphere, this is the place to go. While you’re there, please raise a toast and say a prayer for my safe travels! Ver carta
