"This is an absolutely charming bistro tucked away in an unlikely neighborhood of East Harlem (a French bistro in Spanish Harlem). Amuse Bouche never disappoints- they fly in special inventory items from France (like candies and condiments- I love the French mustard I picked up). Even some of their baked goods are sourced in France which adds a delectable authenticity to the crusty breads and croissants. I keep a strict vegetarian diet, and they are always so friendly and accommodating. Delicious, fresh, and wonderful foods await!"

We loved the personal service and attention. It was surprisingly elegant for a little market spot. Very reasonable prices and lovely food.

This food was incredible! We had the duck crepe and the curried chicken sandwich and both were mindblowingly delicious. And surprisingly affordable. The staff is friendly and the La Marqueta collective it's housed in is very cute. Ver carta

Hidden gem inside La Marqueta under the train tracks, just a few blocks from Central Park and Museum Mile. Delicious and authentic French bistro fare plus brunch specials. French toast and eggplant were standouts. A bargain for how high quality everything was! You can sit down for full service or pick up pastries to go for a picnic. Coffee and juice only/BYOB-friendly!

I am french and this restaurant is a unique place to find real fine French cuisine for a very fair price. also the owners are friendly and welcoming. no fear of the situation (a small area in a market under a railway bridge), because the experience it is worth definitiw. to freeze the people: if they have experience in so-called overpriced French restaurants in ny terrible, they go to this restaurant and they will have a redeeming breath of the air. This cute spot is AMAZING! For the elevated flavors and quality of the dishes offered, Amuse Bouche is such a great value! On my first visit, I chose to bypass the ample portioned quiche and sandwiches, to instead order out of the ordinary. The stuffed acorn looked like a dish I've never seen. You'll usually lose me at vegan and I certainly never gave much thought to acorn squash, but after devouring the stuffed special of the day, OMG, I am an acorn squash convert. And for that Amuse Bouche, I thank you.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
