Great service, traditional bean/rice/meat dishes. Don’t ignore the Cuban Sandwich the ham is roasted and sliced thick, paired with tender pork.

My family took me for my birthday and it was just what I needed. The food was good, the staff met our every wish and made the evening memorable for all of us. Thank you so much.

I tried the Bistec from the lunch menu, and it was the best skirt steak I've ever had. The flavor was fantastic, and it was incredibly juicy—definitely not dry at all. The grilled onions on top were a delightful touch. The Cuban rice with olives and capers was impressive and a new experience for me. I highly recommend checking this place out!

My go to place for a great meal. The food is delicious. I always order the pork shoulder with Mojo and rice with black beans. Jose who works the phone and the dine in has been working with them for over 25 years. He is very efficient, friendly and gets the order out promptly. It sure is the best place to get a good Puerto Rican meal. Did I mention that they make the best flan I have ever had.

The food menu is impressive all around. The flavors are spot on, and the portion sizes are definitely worth the price! You won’t leave feeling unsatisfied. The customer service is excellent and friendly, making for a comfortable dining experience. I often place take-out orders in advance. You should definitely give this spot a try (or return if you've already been) for the closest thing to island cuisine we have here in San Diego. Ver carta

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, and the delightful scent of garlic filled the air. The drive here was definitely worth it, especially since I had my heart set on the mofongo, which is only available on Sundays. The staff enthusiastically said yes when we asked about it, and we were thrilled! We discovered this hidden gem on Instagram and are so glad we chose Andrés for dinner tonight while on vacation from Tampa. Thank you for making our evening so special!

The food here is so flavorful and fresh. It's always cooked with consistency and comes out perfection every time. You can taste and feel the love in the dishes and is like you are sitting in someone's kitchen with Nana waiting for her delicious comforting food. The family and staff are nice too! Goes hand in hand!! Bomb and highly recommend. I always get the pollo a la plancha with either tostones or plaintain that is cooked perfectly! Today I tried the chicken empanada and omg soooo good!!! IM A FAN of this place!!

My wife randomly mentioned that she wanted to try Cuban food, so I looked up some restaurants in the San Diego area, and we decided to give one a shot. Neither of us had ever experienced Cuban cuisine before, so it felt like an adventure. We knew that plantains are a key ingredient in Cuban dishes, so we made sure to try them. We ordered a pork sandwich made with plantains instead of bread, and papas rellenas, which are potato balls filled with ground beef, battered, and fried. Both dishes were fantastic! We will definitely return to explore more of the menu. The only downside was that we ended up waiting quite a while after finishing our meal for the check. Eventually, we decided to walk up...
