"I’ve been to India a couple times and have to say, this is one of the best authentically Indian restaurants in the city I’ve been to. The place is small and simply decorated but it’s all about the food and friendly service here and that’s where it really shines. Some of the dishes they have you wouldn’t find at most other Indian restaurants. The chicken PB 35 was a new one for me but such a beautiful marriage of flavors. And for other more typical dishes like saag paneer they give it their own spin preparing in that case a wonderful, almost rustic home style version that’s both familiar and new. My only small complaint was that the fish curry was a tad on the salty side, but the flavors were still very much on point. I’ll be back! One final note They don’t serve alcohol but a sign on the door says they allow BYOB if you care to bring your own. Another plus in my book!"

The Punjabi food here is outstanding. Make sure to treat yourself by trying the garlic naan, vegetable biryani, and chicken bhuna. You won't regret it!

Have heard good things about their Biriyani so tried their Goat Dum Biriyani. It tastes good smells amazing when you first open the takeout lid. They have a little booth outside which looks very cozy. Nice Indian Restaurant..

The dining experience at Angel was so fantastic, my family and I ate twice i.e.both lunch and dinner on the same day during our visit to Jackson Heights. The service is prompt, attentive and heartwarming. As vegetarians, we enjoyed the paneer dishes as well as the cheese Naan and samosa chaat.

This is a one chip challenge restaurant.I love spicy food but this one after one bite you will feel like you are become a dragon with breathing fire.I couldn’t eat my food .. I ordered the number 1. lotus root kofta the problem is that a couple of foods on the menu have a ?️ sign and what I ordered didn’t even show its spicy…I was only able to eat the butter naan. For $87 it was really expensive. Our server was very nice, he bring me a yogurt sauce to try my food with it, and extra rice but no one in my family was able to finish their food. I believe the owner come to our table he appreciated we choose them. Very nice people service excellent, but with this spice we can’t deal with it.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
