The waitress was super sweet and made our time enjoyable!! Our food was great and timely and overall we really enjoyed this meal!!

beautiful location on the large terrace with magnificent panoramic views over the Tuscan hills. good, even if not excellent eating (we had only pizza, though). nice, a free appetiser and glass prosecco has been offered. would recommend a simple dinner.

Davvero un ottimo ristorante. Materie prime di qualità, cucinate con cura e porzioni generose. Ottima carta dei vini scelta con attenzione dal proprietario, che è molto disponibile e professionale. Sia il cibo che il vino hanno un buonissimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. In breve, fra i migliori posti dove abbia mai mangiato in Toscana.

We wanted to try a restaurant near the farm. We went a little bit randomly by driving from reviews. . No choice was ever clearer! Happy!!! We took as a baccalà appetizer mantecato with humo of chickpeas and crisp egg with truffle and for second two beef tartare! everything really great and presented great! Seeing them through, they seemed really good even pizzas! We will definitely come back!

Tonight we stayed in this fantastic place to celebrate my anniversary. we ordered 2 pizzas, good, a garden appetizer, big, hunter pappardelle, fantastic, a cut, superlative, fried and fried vegetables out. .super, and finally 3 tiramisu and a croccamte strudel with cream and berries, excellent! the place is lovely with a beautiful view. attentive staff to the customer and very kind! if you are on holiday here I recommend it to you great! we will be happy to return. I returned Sunday evening to dinner with friends, great food but unlike previous times I noticed a remarkable shortage of staff. There was only one room manager who was responsible for both reception and booking and service, to manage at least seventy people. the manager was present but busy chatting with other guests or drinking in company, he forgot to bring us a drink despite the lady's request of help who ran here and there trying to please everyone. Surely, at least on weekends, I feel like saying that one person is not enough to give a good service. sin!

Siamo stati una sera a mangiare all'interno, posto molto carino, con delle cose vintage, pulito. Alla sera fanno anche la pizza, noi non l'abbiamo mangiata ma la faccia e il profumo invitava. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto del contadino, affettati freschi, formaggio erborinato che è la fine del mondo e crostini toscani classici. Dopodiché abbiamo optato x due secondi, tagliata con patate e coniglio ripiena con rape... Tutto veramente molto buono. Buon vino (so che sembra scontato ma non sempre è così , servizio impeccabile. Non ho trovato le patate che invece a menù erano comprese col coniglio, non mi è stato detto all'ordine ma a piatto arrivato quando l'ho fatto presente, ma ho dato fiducia...

My wife I are back in San Casciano V.P. after a 4-year hiatus (Covid . We were still adjusting to the time and were searching for dinner well before the normal Italian dinner time. Looking through Trip Advisor it appeared that Antica Calcinaia was open. When we drove the short distance and walked towards the door, a lady approached us and said the restaurant did not open until 1900. We asked her if she knew of another place that would be open. She went inside and returned saying that they would be happy to serve us (two hours before openning time! . Maybe I should have led with this... the food and the service were FANTASTIC!
