"It's been a while since we were in Arabelle. This time, we went for brunch. The pre-fix menu was a 3 course meal, including dessert. That was too much for my wife and when we asked if there was an A-la-carte menu, they showed us the breakfast menu. The best of 2 worlds. I had the brunch which also comes with a basket of pastries, croissant, danish, and muffin. It also came with scones and cream. We had to wait for the scones because they were still in the over when we ordered. They cameo the table hot and were excellent. The service couldn't have been better. Just really really good. I had the French toast and my wife a waffle. Both were delicious. The coffee was fresh and also excellent. For dessert, we shared the chocolate mousse cake. Don't argue with me, order it! It was heavenly! (Though we went on Sunday, there was no prerequisite to attend a service of any kind before eating the cake. Check out the menu on line and if you see something you like, I'm sure it will be delicious."

Dedicated staff. Healthy and tasty food options. Typical of nice places in NY, the prices are high, but not so bad compared to other NY breakfast places Ver carta

This charming restaurant is located in the Plaza Athenee Hotel on a peaceful residential street. The food is excellent and the ambiance is sophisticated.

This restaurant may be suitable for a nostalgic or family-friendly dining experience, but it falls short for those seeking a more sophisticated and unique culinary adventure. It may appeal to individuals who prioritize traditional and conventional dining options.

The great attribute of the place is that it is a quiet and discrete business breakfast place Food was OK, not great. Menu selection was good. Service friendly but nothing extraordinary. That sums up the place, OK but nothing really good but incredibly expensive for what it is!!! Ver carta

Had the Sunday Buffet and all the food was cold, left over eggs, when asked a server to please replaced eggs or if we could order off the buffet he was rude and un un accommodating. Tables around us were dirty and the service was beyond poor!!! It was my first time there and was not invited to return .

Never. Come. Here. For. Brunch. Probably the worst brunch experience I have had in 25 years in NYC. The place was empty and it took them 30 mins to take our order and another hour for the food to begin to arrive. My order (an omelette) only arrived after everyone else had finished and some food never arrived at all. Woefully understaffed in the kitchen and waitstaff departments and they never advised us of any issues, we just sat there and waited. They adjusted our bill but still paid too much for the worst meal I can remember having. It was so bad it was actually comedic. Kind of astonishing that a hotel like the Plaza Athenee would perpetuate that experience. We’ll never return.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
