Very cool restaurant whose front opens up to let the fresh Palo Alto air in. Tonight I enjoyed a tasty old fashioned (or two), Asa salad and the fresh catch of the day which was Halibut. Food was great. Gosh is delivered fresh every day and filleted in the kitchen. Check it out when you’re in Los Altos. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Loved the atmosphere and service! The food was decent. Definitely higher tier but I wouldn't say amazing. I had the Alaskan halibut with spinach risotto. It was good, but that portion size was a bit small for me. Felt hungry after leaving. Other people had the pork chops which was huge in comparison to my entree. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Delicious food and great service at the heart of Los Altos. The menu has so many interesting options and there were several tempting specials, we will need to come back to try it all. The crab toast, the duck cake and the scallop appetizers were very tasteful, as well as our main entree (a halibut special). Our waiter was very helpful, the atmosphere was great and they also had a nice drinks and wine menu. Service: Dine in

Date Night ASA Restaurant has two locations in the Bay Area and their Los Gatos location earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition This was my first dining experience at their more north location in downtown Los Altos With high ceilings and heart themed adorned menus, this was a perfect spot for a Valentine’s week dining experience The menu here is slightly different from the Los Gatos location and I’ve heard that the two locations may not be as closely affiliated when they first opened I loved the appetizers and particular loved the anchovy bread with two different anchovy types topped on crisp, warm bread.
