"Athena Gyro restaurant Lagrangeville N.Y. If your ever in town try this grecian decor. Food is very traditional and reminds me of Athens. Platter's souvlaki (like kabobs , chicken,tuna,swordfish pork,shrimp, grilled to perfection, comes with rice orfrench fries, (regular or feta ,pita,greek salad, crispy green romaine lettuce,cucumber, feta,kalamata olive,tomato,bellpeppers with house special dressing. Calamari was a bit overdone, chewy but tasty,gyro meat delicious, tender. Lamb shank steww/orzo celery,carrots and light tomatoes extremely tender,delicious, grilled salmon, rice and saute broccoli w/ garlic wassuperb. Expresso and homemade cookies topped the palette. ATHENA Gyro gives big portions, unlike the other Greek restaurant inKingston leaves you hungry,but ATHENA your leaving satisfied until the next visit. So if your returning or going to n.y.c stopby your palette won't disappoint."

You must order their grilled vegetables! Pan seared salmon is mooaaah! All of the food is cooked with love! I am the pickiest man in the world so when it I tell you it's good it's good! Truly a dinner table away from home!

we come from long island to eat here. eating is always fresh, delicious in contrast to everything I ever had! service is quick friendly. they will not be missed when they eat here. it is a great place for a date night or lunch with friends!

I am strictly speaking for this place's gyros as they are so good I've never ordered anything else. They're PHENOMENAL. Warm and delicious baked pitas bursting with lamb, lettuce, tomatoes, and have perfect drizzles of sauciness. Plus they deliver!

After a 6-hour ride, we stumbled upon this amazing restaurant on our way back to New York. I have to say, the service was exceptional. I hadn't even finished my delicious house salad before my entree was brought out. The food was absolutely incredible, and if I ever find myself traveling in or out of New York again, I will definitely be stopping here. Some places serve dry chicken no matter how you order it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy their chicken was. There was so much food left over that I had to take a doggy bag with me. Great job, guys!
