This was a first time trying Ethiopian food and it was so good! I love eating with my hands and really enjoyed the injera!

We ordered the vegetarian platter for two people, and each of our options was absolutely delicious! My mom had never eaten Ethiopian food before, and she loved it!

I really love this place. They have a wonderful sampler menu that can be meat heavy or vegetarian, it lets you try a little bit of everything. It's incredibly delicious and affordable too. Very friendly staff as well. Ver carta

Can’t think of a reason to recommend this place to anyone else who’s vegetarian. Maybe I don’t understand what good ater kik alicha is, but I recognize flavorless slop when presented to me on soggy sour bread. My favorite part? My cold cup of water that cleansed my pallet.

I don’t have much to compare it to but I love this place! The vegetarian sampler is my favorite and it’s great when I want to eat healthy but also want to have a ton of food! So yummy and always delivered hot! The only recommendation I have for the dine-in experience is that they should dim the lights and it would make a huge difference in the atmosphere.

When we tried to make a reservation, they said they didn’t take reservations for parties of 4. When we got there the attendant waiting outside said they were full and told us if we texted him with our party number, he would text us back when they had a free table. An hour went by and we never received a text, therefore we are somewhere else. We never ended up receiving a text at all and it seems that this was just a strategy for him to get rid of us. Excellent Injera-Wat; two subtle renditions of Tej; the owners and operators were wonderful to speak with in Amharic and shared memories of the days of Haile Selassie. I lived in Addis Ababa from 1972—1977 — before, during, after the overthrow of The Emperor by the Derg. The same regime is sadly repeating its failures-of-the-past…now in Ukraine. Called the restaurant to let the owner know that I placed an order via seamless but there was a discrepancy with the time. She proceeded to interrupt me multiple times, and wasn’t listening to what I was saying and then proceeded to tell me she didn’t have my $100+ order in her system. She was consistently raising her voice, speaking over me and interrupting me. Ordered a veggie sampler for 2. I couldn't understand where was the lentils, and where was the ground chickpeas. Sounds crazy, isn't it? One of the dishes in sampler contained potato while we ordered another item. The portion size was really small for 40 bucks, but that's the least frustrating thing considering the food just wasn't tasty.
