"The service, staff and atmosphere here is phenomenal. We had our daughters birthday party in the covered patio in the back. It's fully enclosed and has an awesome HVAC system, we were all very comfortable, while the weather outside was rain and hail. We received the best service that I have ever experienced at any restaurant/venue in Coos County. If you're having an event and looking for a clean, new venue that can handle a crowd, look no further. Also, our entire party agreed that the Back Alley has the best pizza on the Southern Oregon Coast. Try it for yourself!! *Just had the pizza again, and it's still the best pizza in town"

I like the place. And be kind to the staff, it can be a busy place. So be patient with them. Not a good place if you're changing the clock, but most exhalent experience. Take time!

The bar and Restaurant area of the bowling alley was way bigger than I had imagined. We only ordered drinks, which were very good. I loved the option of dining outdoors, with play equipment for children. The Middle part has lots of room with lots of tables and chairs..it can hold a lot of people. There is a fire pit we sat around inside but still open to outside. Very nice..

"More like Restaurant WHOA! I wanna first say: unbeatable prices for the quality of food and service here. The happy hour is outstanding. It’s almost as though this chef wants to create a special and satisfying experience for all, while not requiring patrons to shell out beaucoup bucks solely for the price of admission. You can have a 3-course prix fixe dinner for $65, and the 6-course chef’s tasting menu for $95– both offer wine pairing— BUT you can also have an outstanding $7 caipirinha or old fashioned from 4-6pm. I have to censor the rest of the following prices, because they’re such a bargain that I don’t want people to know the exact number. We had an awesome $x antipasti, paid $x for the best tempura prawns I’ve ever had (TEMPURA, not just fried), had a $1x lb of mussels in an amazing and authentic broth (guy brought us homemade focaccia to dip in it: the words cannot be said on this platform). They make their own pasta. We didn’t have the pasta, but we had the spot prawn special and it was sooooo interesting. Dare to be adventurous! There are things on the menu you won’t find anywhere else around. You can tell that somebody really competent is running the show, and everybody I saw seemed happy to work there. I live in one of the top foodie places in the world, and I think this is up there with the best, east to west, and I’m so glad this gem is in Coos Bay. I want to go every day for the rest of my trip.
