"If you're craving sushi late at night, this isn’t the place to go. I called to order sushi at 8:28 pm and spoke with a gentleman named Dylan. Dylan asked if he could place me on a “brief” hold, but that “brief” hold turned into 10 minutes. I didn’t want to lose my spot, so I called the restaurant on my house phone and got a busy signal. The restaurant closes at 9, and I was already on hold for 10 minutes. I decided to hang up and call back, the phone just kept ringing. I was so annoyed. I had my 14-month-old baby with me and wasn’t in the mood to walk in and speak to a manager about my disappointment with the staff leaving me on hold to avoid taking last-minute orders. My pet peeve is when a restaurant decides they’re “too busy” or it’s “too late” to take to-go orders. I did my best to put my order in before the last 30min. This experience definitely left a bad impression on me. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I’ve called before during the last hour of operations, and the phone would just stay busy. However, this is the first time someone answered and kept me on hold, blocking the phone line. Horrible customer service late at night!"
