The food was absolutely delicious. We had a very varied selection among four of us and we all had great meals. Prices were extremely reasonable. It's not a dressy place but the vibe is nice and there are huge windows so even if sitting inside it feels light and airy.

Great food, great service, very friendly. It was a comfortable small town, local restaurant. Fish tacos with dirty rice, fried green tomatoes with an amazing cajun sauce, and bacon wrapped shrimp with the blue crab bisque as a dipping sauce. So yummy!Definitely recommend!

This place was great! We gave it a shot while in the area on vacation. Food was a super fresh, great portion sizes, and reasonably priced. Staff was extremely friendly and topped of the visit perfectly. We had the Gator Bites, Nachos, Snow Crabs, and Hook Line Sinker plate (blackened), all of it was great! Ver carta

I really loved this place! We went for the seafood boils and we were not disappointed. We ordered the swamp boil with crab, mussels, clams, oysters, shrimp, crawdads, potato, corn, and sausage. It was more then enough for 2 ppl and everything wasdelicious. I ordered a piña colada and it was freshly made, not from a mix, and one of the best I've ever had. The service wasalso amazing. Super friendly and personable. Gave us some great recommendations for kayaking and other places to eat. Could nothave been happier

All I can say is wow! Outstanding experience all around. I really don't know why we don't come here more often. Our party of seven was very happy with everything. Our Canadian friends chose this restaurant based on other reviews, and they didn’t disappoint. If you visit, make sure to try the crab bisque—it was a big hit with everyone! The price range of $30 to $50 per person included one or two cocktails, an entrée, and a cup of bisque as a starter. You can definitely spend less if you skip the extra delicious items! Ver carta

A hidden Gem!!! We were riding the bike and decided to stop here for a drink well after seeing the menu I decided I wanted soup. It was a toss up between the Blue Crab Bisque or the Clam Chowder I picked the Clam Chowder. First off I have had clamchowders from the east coast to all over Florida and this soup was THE BEST CLAM CHOWDER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! It had plenty offresh clams and potatoes the creamy flavor was SPECTACULAR it truly was the best and before I head back home I am going back toget some to take home so BRAVO TO THE CHEF THIS SOUP WAS THE MOST DELICIOUS SOUP I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!!

My family I ate at Backwater Fins on July 7th with some friends we really enjoyed it. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night for dinner it was just as good. The food tasted fresh was delicious! You can't go wrong with the grouperbites, grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon, gator bites, clam strips, hush puppies, etc. The waitresses were really helpful friendly. They are well versed in customer service their menu items. The main dining room has a nice view of the water itwas cool not too loud. We were staying just around the corner we were happy to have found this little gem of a restaurant.We will definitely be back on our next visit. Ver carta
