"I ate here the other day with a business friend who suggested it. I couldn 't help but remember the hot dog man who 'd had a stroke and was forced to retire. He had purchased a modest cart and set up a half block down and across the street from these people. They went to the city to have this handicapped man removed and he was soon gone. Why, I don 't know but it was in the Eagle. It 's all I could think about as I sat looking out the window wondering why I was there eating overpriced unseasoned finger-food. I much prefer the old man 's hot dogs. *2022 UPDATE: ditto!"

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Philly steak and cheese. While the brisket was also good, the Philly was my standout favorite. I will definitely order the carrot cake muffin again; it was moist, flavorful, and the cream filling in the middle was delightful.

I had a fantastic meal! The service was excellent, even during the hectic lunch rush. The atmosphere wasn't ideal; my friend and I struggled to hear each other because of the echo in the room, and it was quite dark. However, there was plenty of space available.
