"I had a reservation at 18:30 and it was our first time to eat there. we have to wait another 15 minutes before we come to our table. it was a very busy Saturday evening in the restaurant. the waiter was friendly, but unfortunately he only checked us once in the entire dining experience. my eating was not bad, but the steak my friend ordered was very dissatisfied. he ordered a medium rare that came out moderately. he said the flesh tasted like gum. the spargel and the carrots were very dirty. I tasted it and it was bland. he didn't want to ask the waiter to take the food back because he knows how long it would take until it comes out again because we waited almost an hour for our food. unfortunately we don't go back again, but he was unhappy with the service and eating."

"WE love the food at Uva the lobster cake appetizer was outstanding. But the entrees (pasta special) were not spectacular. I had the veal chop and it was very tasty but chewy. The broccoli rabe was stringy too The sewrvice was great; especially the woman who helped us"

"We haven't had such incredible pizza in a long time. The onion rings are crisp and not soggy at all. The cannoli are homemade and may be a bit different from what you're used to, but they're definitely worth a shot!"

"Like many neighbors these pandemic days, we've been ordering take-out and eating out on the patio or at our dining room table. And if we invite our vaccinated friends and family for dinner, our grandchildren vote for ordering from Denicola's dinner menu. The meals are tasty, well-packaged, and bountiful. Plus, it's always a treat for everyone to pack their own meals to take home with them after our delicious family dinner together . . . We actually enjoy the reheats as much as (maybe even more than) our first meal! We all have our favorite Denicola dishes to order, but most of us are really disappointed if the chef does not offer the individual pizzas and fried calamari appetizers. (After over a decade, the fried calamari is still the best we've ever tasted: crisp, lightly seasoned and tender . . . Mangia"

"My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We started with Burrata and long hots for appetizers, followed by a delicious Brooklyn pizza pie for dinner. The Tiramisu for dessert was a generous portion and tasted fantastic. The flavors of all the dishes were spot on and the service was top-notch, despite the busy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to others."
